Bowmanville Marina Inn & Suites

AMAZING !!!!! I was in a wedding the weekend of Oct 22/23, 2022. The bride booked a block of rooms. I had a King size suite. To say that I was nervous about the quality and condition of the room was an understatement - I've only ever stayed in large hotel chains before - BUT - this was one the THE best experiences I have ever had! Christine, who greeted me was so polite, funny and professional. Our room was UBER clean and the bed was SOOOOOO comfortable! The bathroom was spotless - which is always a good indication of the overall quality of the establishment. The price was VERY REASONABLE too. If I ever have the need to be in Bowmanville area again I will not hesitate to book my room with them again!!!

Still showing that there is an open restaurant, as stated, 'waterfront restaurant' is COMPLETELY MISLEADING and frankly just a LIE!

Room was okay generally speaking but because we were arriving late, they left our door open with the key inside with the lights open but there were hundreds of mosquitos and flys inside the room because of thag - had to spend over 30 mins trying to kill them inside the room and there were still plenty left. Left a message at the reception but never got any response. Very disappointed.

My stay for the past few weeks has been amazing. Christina and the team have been friendly and helpful and my room was very clean and newly refurbished with great amenities. Thank you guys, can’t wait to come back again!

Honestly super happy I ended booking here. Everything else was sold out in town, and this is such a cozy little spot. Clean, cute and welcoming. The person who checked us in was so friendly and kind. Don't be turned off by the location as you drive to the location. Once you get to the inn you immediately feel safe and welcomed.

Our room was very clean and quiet, and the service was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having the lake and marina right outside our door, and although the restaurant was closed due to Covid, we found really pleasant patios and an all day breakfast place in Newcastle, which was a short drive from the location. We will definitely return to this place, felt like we were off the beaten track but it's just off the highway and close to nice little beaches and park. Very pleased.

What a lovely place to stay. Super close to the 401, and the town of Darlington. Rooms have been updated. Staff was fantastic, and hard working. Just a quick example, during our check-in. The manger was doing work on the property , and another staff member called her to the office for us. Speedy check in. Lots of parking. Rooms are on two floors , looking over the marina , bay. The view from the rooms is more parking lot, but you can easily walk to the waters edge to see the boats and harbour. One down fall to the area is that the main freight and passenger rail line is close by. Sometimes you can hear a train as it passes through the area. Otherwise, a lovely stay, and we will likely come back again.

The rooms were 5 star! Super clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. The lady we dealt with was extremely friendly and nice to deal with! We wish the restaurant would've been open (closed to covid) but all in all a great experience.

I've stayed at this place, just this weekend, overall, it's a nice and relaxing place but I've encountered some unruly guests, they were pounding on the walls day and night, I couldn't rest properly. Then they were a little kid and his dad, running in the corridor oh so often and to cover it off. The little kid took his toy truck and drove it on the walls of the hotel. I ended my trip early and I left, it was a horrible experience, some folks are so inconsiderate of others.
