Imagine Studio Café
Superb pastries... French inspired. Love the quirkiness of the servers...the 'team'. The owner always passes compliments back to them, showing her passion for the whole concept she had created. I live in James Bay, so go there whenever I have the need for some relaxation over coffee and a treat, but also make it my go to place when meeting for lunch with friends. The last time rocked it right out of the park...from the service, taste and presentation. The smoked salmon and cream cheese on a bagel was better than anywhere else I've had it (including 'The Savoy' in London). The very fresh, high end salmon was piled high, with beautiful garnishes. My friend who was a restaurant owner, was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the delicious soup, which is an item on lunch menus that is often just an after thought. Imagine Cafe is a hidden gem, sweetly nestled in the area across the park from Fisherman 's Wharf. You will love it!

If you are visiting Fisherman's Wharf in Victoria and would like a lovely place to have breakfast or a light lunch, just walk across the park above the wharf and you will come to Imagine Café on Erie Street. The café serves organic food and offers ' an experiential & transformative learning space designed as an internship business program for young adults, all cultures & all abilities.', which we thought was wonderful. We went there for breakfast and had their French Toast with whipped cream (hey we were on vacation!), which was delicious but had a tough time making that selection because we were so tempted by their selection of pastries (croissants, danishes, etc.). Finally we decided that in addition to our breakfast we would buy scones for breakfast the next day (and they were wonderful too!). We visited just as it opened at 10:00 and there was a steady stream of patrons the whole time we were there so it was terrific to see this initiative get such support from locals as well as tourists. Some people were just coming in for lattes, cappuccinos, coffee and tea, but the tables also filled up with other breakfast eaters. They were just starting to fill their display case with salads, quiche, etc. for their lunch offerings when we left. At one end of the eating area is a pizza oven and eating bar. In addition to the inside tables, there are some patio tables out front and along the side of the building from which you can see the park and the city skyline. This place is well worth the four minute walk from the wharf.

This was a fantastic cafe! We were staying at the World Mark around the corner and walked up here to meet a friend.There is tonnes of out door seating (covered and not covered) and some seating inside.The staff were all so friendly and engaging.They had a lot of baked good selection and the fresh pot of chilli on the stove smelled so good! I believe they do all of their own baking and cooking but even if they don’t it sure looked amazing! It was hard for me not to try everything especially their MASSIVE cookies!We ordered drinks and sat inside. The barista is quite skilled in latte art and made everyone smile when it was dropped off at the table.We love the concept of “inclusivity” of this cafe and the learning environment they create - very impressive!I recommend making this a top on your walk or scenic drive! Even if it is a bit out of the way it is worth it!

My husband and I come to this cafe often almost weekly! We love the atmosphere, the employees are very kind and the desserts and drink selection are wonderful. I get the london fog and it is the best I have had in a long time. There are almost always spots for seating and there is parking along the street and around the corner as well. I will definitely keep returning (:

I like going to cafe's and this is the best one I've ever been to by far. The coffee has great depth of flavor and richness. The pastries are fresh out of the oven and perfectly executed. Amazing staff as well!

Great spot and great atmosphere but I found it ridiculous to charge $10 for some leaves and feta as a 'green salad'. My partner had the spanikopita and it was average

This was a very excellent experience. They were very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. After a lot of bad luck at the airport we have had an amazing experience at this cafe that brightened our spirits and made the day much better. Delicious food and beverage, amazing service! Will return next time we are in Victoria!

I had such high hopes for this cafe. The staff were very nice and the cafe is very cute with great patio seating. We ordered their pizza $15 and took a bite and was totally shocked.It was so bland. The dough didn't taste fully cooked. Very medicore.I would pay for a good pizza but charging $15 for this bland flavorless pizza left us sad and disappointed :(

Such a cute and wonderful café right near Fisherman's Wharf! Had an absolutely delicious breakfast with a brownie for dessert because I couldn't resist, and glad I did because it was rich and amazing. The staff were all great welcoming, and I loved it there!
