SPAR-Marathon Roofing Supplies

My told me about this place and I thought I'd check it out. I first started with reading the reviews on here. Has a lot of mixed reviews. Made me a little hesitant but I went in and had a great experience. The ladies behind the counter were very helpful. I had a lady that was extremely helpful and she told me she had only started 2 months ago. Over all a great experience and prices were decent.

I went to the Spar marathon for the first time and for the last time. Front desk staff were not really pleasant to deal with. Also, the forklift driver did not even bother to help us to lift and load just 2 shingle bundles.

I picked up some shingles for my house the other day. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and kind. The prices were good in comparison to other roofing stores I checked out. I also purchased an item that was somewhat large and someone carried it all the way to my car for me. Very nice!

Had a bad experience with the manager also .... ignores you .....kept going between myself and another customer , i felt he wasnt interested in my business... the blond girl was great but apparently aziz know everything so her help was limited ....long story short i ended up leaving without my samples and i told him his behaviour was aggressive and rude and i had no problem taking my business somewhere else ....Which I DID!!!!!!Not worth your time to stop in to this place very unprofessional.

Had an unpleasant experience with a yard manager Aziz . As an independent contractor buying large amounts of supplies from this outfit multiple times always have issues with this guys poor service skills and unfriendly attitude . Management should sack this character .

I have been dealing with Aziz for years and have always been looked after much to my satisfaction. The store is quite well stocked and I can honestly say they go out of their way to accommodate a tight schedule or last minute order. It would be beneficial if some of the staff had a little more product knowledge and yet they will call around to quantify my questions or concerns. The owners Craig and Wendy get huge kudos for taking the time to resource staff that help this industry shine as it is not know for attracting such exceptional talent.The last Roofing Competition and Product information Day was really worthwhile attending.I thank the staff and suppliers for their efforts and promotional items and will add that the lunch and deserts provided were fabulous. It is because of these considerations that I due my best to maintain a relationship with Spar-Marathon whenever possible. Thank You Spar-Marathon.

As a home-owner I came for a small amount of metal roofing for a new shed. The service was excellent and their was never a line-up. My only complaint was the price - it was cheaper elsewhere but I didn't have the ability to travel further. Oh, and you'll have to wait 10 to 14 days for your order.

I have operated an owned an onest business in Durham for over 30 years and my customers always are as important to me as a family member, (defitelnaly not the case with this guys) I have purchased quite a large amount of roofing supplies from spar marathon few months ago and dealt with their sales person ken" he provided pricing and arranged delivery for the job to be done .When the job was completed my roofing guys had purchased additional bundles and paid cash for it. "KEN ..OFFERED TO PICK UP THE LEFT OVER MATERIAL AND ARRANGE A CREDIT TO BE DELIVERED TO ME .I waited and waited and did not hear anything for a wile

Not to one driver I do not recommend working in pikering spar-msrathon with manager Aziz.I worked there for 4 months ... and during this time 3 forklift operator and 2 drivers have left the company. He is the worst manager who thinks first of all about himself ... safety for him is in the last place, a rude and arrogant egoist.If anyone wants to work for this company, it's better to go to Weston rd spar-Mararhon.There's a good team.
