The Captain's Boil
The staff was great. The only issue was we ordered apps and they came at the same time as the food when we asked for it to come first. Also the apps are not worth the price.

A bit disappointed with yesterday’s dinner. We had ordered the mixed special with shrimps and clams and the portion was just enough for me (I’m petite and I don’t eat much) but I would say, it was for sure less than a pound.We ordered a side of fried brussel sprouts and they didn’t have it. We ordered the cajun fries as the back up. Wish the waiter flagged to us that we had already ordered the poutine so it was double the amount of fries we were eating.A big miss:-Lobster bisque came warm and there’s no sign of the lobster-Lobster poutine has one piece of lobster, it was like finding a needle in the hay stack but we found it-Ordered churros (an order of 4 sticks) and asked for it to come with vanilla but they didn’t have vanilla and gave us strawberry instead. Gave us the wrong portion and charged us for it.-Utensils, plates and cups given to us were all disposable. Not a sustainable restaurant and that was a huge turn off for me.Otherwise - Service was great, the staff was super friendly.

Beautiful location. The food is delicious, especially the Captain Boil's flavours. It's a good idea to eat there for the first time. The clams, shrimp, and lobster have been thoroughly flavoured. The setting is appealing. Also, the customer service is excellent, special thanks to Hamid for his assistance.

Ordered a takeout for lunch (just as store opened yesterday) and was disappointed with the taste of the food. We have tried this franchise a few times at a couple of locations in Vancouver BC where the taste and flavour were consistently good. Expected similar for our first experience in the GTA, having picked this location from Google reviews. The taste of both the Captain’s Boil sauce and the Seafood Fried Rice were not close to what we had experienced previously in BC.

Recommended to try. But not The Best.Hello all my first time Experiencing this restaurant become and Adventure. If you are looking for a Modern, sea food bar, yes this is the place, I tried the Mateys" order which is a complete sea food meal

I'm writing this review because I'm SOOOOO PIST!!!!!!Ate here today for my late birthday lunch with my husband and son and because I have been craving and it. Had a great time overall, food was great, service was great since we got there soon as it opened at 12 pm. After many hours of being out and ariving home at 9pm, after unpacking and transferring our left overs into tupperwares I realize our mussles, shrimp and deep fried shrimps were missing. After playing it back in my head, I realized they tidied up while we stepped away to use the washroom.I remember packing the rice, fries and chicken fingers into containers and tied the bags of mussles and shrimp. They obviously thought it was garbage and threw it. But wasn't it obvious enough that there were still food in those bags????I obviously called, the manager said best we can do is give you a $10 credit". We paid over $80 so I demand the pieces we had left over

The wait staff isn’t overly friendly and no sense of urgency.I totally understand all foods have different cook times and need to be prepared a certain way, but when everyone at the table is ordering different meals it would be great to know some of us will be waiting ten mins longer than others.No refills on soft drinks, not great when you have children with you.The food is decent, for sure. But I wouldn’t say worth of their price points.

Service was good over all as we could mostly find service when we needed ☺️ majority of the food were good, if it wasn’t for the oysters and the lobster bisque then we would definitely reconsider :)
