I have been dealing with both Desjardins and Canada Life and both throw nickels around like they are man hole covers. However Canada Life is absolutely terrifying to deal with if you need to get through to an agent." I guess they think that if they keep you on hold long enough you will forget about your issue and hang up."

Terrible experience with Canada Life, these people put me through the wringer to get multiple documents filled out and tons of information from my doctor only to be declined. Never wanting to be with CL ever again.

Left a message to call me back 10 days ago. Still no answer. Two days ago tried to call them again. After 25 minutes got in touch with the talking machine. When asked who you want to talk to I said Bonnie. The machine said did you say Bonifacy. If yes press one if not press two. It was playing word games with me for 10 minutes. Then I quit totally frustrated. I feel ignored and angry. Canada Life has no idea what customer service means. I will never buy any product from them and will share my experience with all my friends.

The absolute worst insurance company ever! Waiting since the 5th of OCT/22 to have approval for my husbands cpap machine! At this rate he may bed dead by time they decide to call back! You got your payment every month!

Cannot get anyone on the phone ever no matter how hard you try!!! Have called them four times, stayed on hold for 1.5 hours, then get an answering machine. No one ever calls back!!!

It was good at the start....however ever since I got a new agent...I've lost over $3000 in RRSP. Just terrible. Absolutely terrible. Very disappointed. Do not go here unless that agent is really really really good. My agent/advisor sucked

Been waiting for my short term disability for nearly 5 weeks now, I leave voicemail call every day of the week they are available and still they have not answered me why it hasn't been approved nor have they helped to get it approved they also denied my claim for the benefits I have been provided and been paying in too
