Hotel staff recommended this restaurant and decided to give it try. We were looking for more like simply egg and sausage breakfast place, but we were so happy with the recommendation!Server was super friendly and patient with us. We tried maple latte and the meal with fried chickpeas, nann bread, garlic yogurt and sausage which was just perfect portion. Server generously recommended to add sausage and he was right. It might have not been enough without it. So I suggest that if you look for a full breakfast.

Excellent for brunch. I had a delicious trout dish, including cheesy tater tots (yum), which sounds odd to have before noon, but it was a tasty protein boost! (See photos) They have outdoor seating, too – which is usually crowded – and which why I had to sit inside. So, in sum: the food is delicious, the service is impeccable, and the interior is beautiful, with original artwork on the walls. Definitely include Le Hobbit in your foodie itinerary in QC. This is not tourist food. It’s delicious and worth every penny!

My husband and I are big fans of The Hobbit so we had to try this place out. We were not disappointed! We had brunch and the food was just delicious! We sat outside and enjoyed the nice view. The service was quick and friendly.

We enjoyed our lunch, terrific service. A wonderful French meal. The fingerling potatoes are a specialty. The Turnip soup with pickled carrots a perfect experience.

Sitting inside beside the windows open to the street was a cute vibe. Breakfast items are a little niche, but thanks to their suggestion I was able to piece together an American style breakfast that I enjoyed. I otherwise probably wouldn't have enjoyed any of the regular menu items as much.

Come here for the taste of the delicious food, not the quantity like at a regular breakfast joint. So you might want to order an extra dish on the side. I got the bacon!Depending on the day, you’re better to make a reservation.Great staff!Be warned! Parking can be scarce. So walk to the venue if you can.

Cozy restaurant filled with local artwork. Friendly staff with great food. I came for dinner and had a great experience. However, the place seemed a tad understaffed. (Holiday Season)

Stopped by for a birthday brunch and everything was so refined. We loved our dishes and it was so cozy inside. I got the potato waffle with smoked mackerel and it was divine. My partner really enjoyed his braised deer and eggs dish. We also got the trout gravlax and it was delicious! The service was splendid, we got so many water refills.

Super small portions, what you see as images is the samosa like cakes. It’s supposed to be a dinner portion. As is the duck plate. Perhaps an attempt for a futuristic meal, duck fat wasn’t rendered and tough to eat. Sadly nothing special to return. Both items brought the bill to $60+ before tax and tip. We would not go back.

We made a reservation for New Year's Eve. Upon arriving and to our surprise, they informed us that they would only be serving a fixed 7 course menu. They really should have informed us before hand. A few other surprised customers who made reservations decided to leave on the spot. With limited options without a reservation on New Year's Eve, we decided to stay. They were not able to accommodate our mushroom allergy request since the menu was fixed. While we enjoyed the to the sea..." dish and the "looking forward..." dessert
