My husband and I are first time home buyers, and can say without a doubt that Christopher Walker provided top quality of care regarding our first home buying experience. We had a bad experience prior to meeting Christopher, in which the other realtor was insisting we buy hundreds of thousands of dollars over what we could afford, would not answer our emails, and had poor communication skills. Christopher has been the exact opposite of this, and for that my family is very thankful.As first time home buyers Christopher ensured that we were aware of the ins and outs of everything to do with buying a home. He explained everything to us thoroughly and answered all questions we had ensuring we had ample informed consent. He made sure that we only looked at homes that we could afford, and homes that we would be comfortable and happy to live in for years to come. In addition to this, Christopher is extremely prompt and would contact appropriate persons right away. He would keep us in the know about everything, and follow up with us regardless of how busy he was. He made sure all information was communicated clearly and that my family was not left waiting for answers. During our time working with Christopher, he treated us with kindness, and more as family friends.The real estate market has proven to be difficult in these trying times, and Christopher ensured our difficult criterion was met, and that we found our dream home. He provided his honest opinions for homes that would be appropriate for my family. After our home had been purchased, he went above and beyond and with contacting the builder to ensure that everything would be perfect for us.Further to this, Christopher is a kind and genuine person. He has done so much for us, and has made this such a positive experience. We are thankful we have met him, and would recommend his services to all. 100/100 percent of the time. Even after we had bought our home, he continues to answer our questions and concerns and ensure everything will be perfect upon our move in date, from house warming gifts to offering help with whatever we need. We were unbelievably lucky to have found Chris - such a caring, enthusiastic open person who is/was a superb agent. I really should say that he found us. I had put a search in as we were moving from Peterborough, Ontario to Vancouver Island. He helped us survive the sometimes daunting process with humor, professionalism and a true desire to help us find our home, so that we would be happy with it. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding locations - what would work for us, and what wouldn’t. Chris was always encouraging , promising that we would find our house , and saying “next” when the listing wasn’t a good fit. Talk about a good life lesson , one not just applicable to house hunting.He travelled over 50 k to do a video walkthrough when we couldn’t be there.He took us to lunch and we had terrific conversations , often laugh filled. It was then that we knew that we had not only a terrific agent , but a friend.He even offered to inspect a crawl space that was concerning us because of ants taking up residence there.Chris expertly guided us on presenting an offer, when to negotiate, and when to hold back . It worked , because we now have a house !In fact , he took us on an absolute joy ride ( in the best sense of the word ) , to explore the area around our new place . Working with Rob at VI Home Group was an excellent experience, he came highly recommended by our realtor in Vancouver and was able to facilitate our needs and was able to be at the property as and when we needed him to be. We are extremely impressed with Cory Chapman and his team mates and VI Home Group. In the last 2 years we tried unsuccessfully to sell our home and got very frustrated in the process. We met Cory through a query on the web, and it all went uphill from there. Even though we had a listing with another realtor, Cory kept in touch with us as promised. We listed with him this year in January and he had it sold within the first 3 days to a qualified buyer. He is so professional, not pushy and very knowledgeable. He is always available when we call, and if he is on another call, he gets back to you immediately. If he was busy when we wanted to view a home he sent a team mate to help us out. They really are a “team” in every sense of the word. Cory also helped us find a wonderful new home in a beautiful area. He knew exactly what we wanted and didn’t waste our time with homes that did not appeal. We have had a number of realtors in Alberta and on Vancouver Island, over the years, but we can honestly say Cory is the best realtor we have ever used. We would not hesitate to recommend him. Christopher Walker is a fabulous real estate agent. He went over and above to welcome us to the area and help us find the perfect home. He offered to drive us around neighbourhoods on the weekend to get to know them, knock on doors to meet our prospective neighbours, and come to our new place to help us scrub the smoke smell off the walls. It is clear from the moment he meets you that he really cares about his clients, and this is more than just a sales transaction to him. Chris is very friendly and talkative and can come on quite strong especially in the beginning as you are just getting to know him. Don’t let this scare you away. He has a heart of gold and a very strong work ethic. He will practically work around the clock, 7 days a week, to find you the perfect home. He did for us, and we can not recommend him highly enough!

Rob was invaluable during our 6 months of house hunting and eventually buying on Gabriola. He was always available to us, he capably calmed our anxiety during the inevitable tension of competing bids and Rob seems to have a great sense of the local market and what bids are likely to be successful. After the purchase, Rob has gone out of his way to come up with a list of tradespeople and to check on all the details that might mess up a smooth transition.It has been a delight working with Rob and I'd be happy to recommend him to family and friends.

Rob Freeman is a wonderful person, friendly, personable, an excellent listener saving me lots of conversations, stress and time trying to decide what to do. He listens and delivers so well; you will find yourself wondering if he has psychic abilities. He is a true professional, and I found he was always focused on my needs. Rob Freeman was our realtor for a recent purchase of a condo at Mount Washington.
