Kansas city airport check in terminal had no network or backup (only airline without one the attendant told us), so our flight was cancelled. Waited in line 4 hours to hear that news. Four employees sat on their hands behind the counter and did not get us water or snacks to help alleviate the inconvenience. They promised meal vouchers and hotel vouchers. None provided. They rebooked the following morning. We were in business class and entitled to food but they had no food on the rebooked flight. The flight attendant said they had to throw out all the food from the original flight and did not get any new food. What a miserable customer service airline. The plane is a noisy Bombadier tin can.UPDATE: On the return flight, we were once again in the business class priority seating. For the upgrade, the onboard video screens did not work and they lost several business class passengers' luggage, including ours. We are waiting to hear from them when they find the luggage. On the positive side, they did have food this time and it was actually good.

I would have wanted to help Air Canada be the best airline in the world, unfortunately Air Canada strives to miss every opportunity to improve. My experience has never been good with AC, my latest experience was on Father’s Day, I requested an earlier flight to go see my terminal dad, the answer was a flat out no, your scheduled flight in 8 hours in a layover can’t be changed since your luggage has already been checked in. Any other airline would manually pull the luggage retag it to get the client on their way.I suggest Air Canada talk to the best Airlines in the industry to learn how to stand up for clients and give them the best experience they deserve. Canada deserves a better airline.Sorry to see Canada go down to lows!

Air Canada sucks. Flight from Vancouver cancelled adding 24 hour delay. Another 4 hour delay in Toronto - Total additional 30 hours delay to get home - the staff is not upfront about the actual issue. Stop lying to the passengers and tell the truth.22 hours travel form Anchorage to Fredericton is now at 50 hours and counting.Update - they now refuse to compensate us in full for the amount we are untitled to. They offer us 40% is what they owe us.

I don’t really know where to start but this airline I would never get aboard this airplane again first of all it is filthy. It has problems with canceling rescheduling they’re not very helpful at the desk. and then we had a seven hour layover because they canceled one of our trips so we had to sit in the Plaza premium lounge and let me add a picture to this filthy lounge. These red things you see in the photo are to catch roaches.

After rebooking our flights to less convenient times, including a very long layover, the second flight was canceled. Not their fault for the cancelation, but you'd think they'd never considered the possibility before and kept giving us contradictory directions, shuffling us from desk to desk until we gave up and found our own way home. Message received, Air Canada. We will not fly with you again. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I've always had a great flying experience until our Christmas vacation last year. We didn't get 1 of our bags, but we made the best of it with a smile. The staff were really amazing as we were listening to everyone freak out. Just go with the flow, and we will still fly with them.

As a flying customer, I have come to realize that my experiences on flights are only pleasant when I book business class. That’s the only reason I am giving 4 stars rather than 5. However, I have had many good experiences with this airline. The staff are friendly most of the time, and on my last flight the pilot got us home early. I don’t really have any complaints that would be in particular to Air Canada. I think their service is one of the best out of all other air lines.

My husband and I worked for a whole year and reduced our living expenses so that we could travel for two weeks for our honeymoon. also that my husband could see his family because it was the first time they meet me. we didn't have a wedding party cause our family wasn't in Canada and we had an economic problem for settle our life as a beginner couple so we didn't take a photo of this event which can be the most important in anyone's life. I packed my suitcase a few months ago with great excitement in the hope that we will be able to take all the photos there. Our ticket cost was around $4500, we flew from Toronto to Germany on June 9th with full hope and happiness and our flight was direct without any stop after 8 hours of flight. When we went to pick up our luggage, my husband's luggage arrived but my luggage did not arrive after 3 hours we asked the airport officials, they said that the luggage was not sent from Toronto, I had a panic attack and I got dizzy and fell. My husband and his aunt, who came to the airport for us, helped me. I was depressed for a few days. I cried all the time, not only for my luggage and stuff, which were more than $ 5000 but also cause all the dreams and plans I had made for this trip were ruined, although my husband tried to distract me from this issue. It's really hard for a woman to have her honeymoon ruined like this. Air Canada turned my trip into a nightmare and made it the worst thing in my life. Still, after almost a month, there is no news about my stuff and luggage, and I have not received a clear answer. they don't know anything just said you have to wait for the process

The most ridiculous aviation experience ever. Had a direct flight from LAX to YYZ. Plane couldn’t land at YYZ because of bad weather, which is understandable, they landed at London, ON (YXU) at 8am. First they made us wait in the plane to see if the weather would clear up so they can get us back to Toronto, then they made us deboard the planes because of some immigration protocols for international flights from the US. Now after 8 hrs of waiting in a small lounge and offering us $10 meal vouchers for the entire day, they boarded us back up, in the same plane, and now we have been waiting since 3pm , inside the plane, without any air circulation because apparently there is something wrong with the fuel gauges or fuel lines, and we are here sitting ducks. I have always been a fan of Air Canada but this has got to be the worst case of emergency management i have ever witnessed, and it makes me lose my trust in Air Canadas ability to fly me safely to my destination. Whenever possible, I will not be flying air canada again and i will recommend anyone reading this, to find an alternative airline carrier for your destination.Here are some pictures to show that this is all real. We have all been stuck for the past 19 hours. And no one has a reasonable explanation, or an answer to our woes.

I never really flown Air Canada but I've flown there subsidary Air Canada Rouge a ton. Air Canada Rouge is overall a very solid airline with good service and varied destinations to choose from, the only downside is A319s. They can be a bit cramp for space especially for any flight lasting more theam 2 hours.
