I've been a regular customer of Total Pet for over 15 years, ever since they were at the Tom Laroche's building years ago. Not a big fan of the new layout and the customer service has taken a drop. I went in today, with my 3 month old puppy to get him a new collar and leash - the lady who served me seemed to not be well rehearsed with puppy energy and was not very helpful. I went to Animal House and was treated very well and left with a $50 purchase, including new collar and leash.

Always got good deals and they got there fish section back up and running again the renovation looks super good I can't wait to see all the animals they have available looks like there adding a few more staffs always super friendly and welcoming. They have a really nice variety of fish now that they got there tanks back up and running fairly good priced fish aswell

When I walked in, I don't remember being greeted. The two ladies that were at the tills were busy conversing with each other.I did ask about pricing on a dog toy and the one cashier came & obliged the information to me.When I paid for the items, the cashier who assisted me didn't seem too friendly.Store was very clean......nice displays and lots of variety in all the different departments. Pricing, like everywhere else these days is fairly high, ranging from about $6 on up for singular items. All are of good quality, thoughOverall, I would rate the store as 8 or 9.I would come here again for that reason & because it's good to support local businesses & pets are important people, too!

Aside from some questionable advice from an employee that contradicted my vet, the place is decent. I walked in and several employees offered to help me right away. Or maybe they thought I was planning to shoplift. Whatever, I got what I came for and paid a fair price.

What a great experience! Went in to get my dogs raw dog food that we always get but I had an amazing experience! I was waited on by Sama and WOW! She was beyond phenomenal! She not only informed me that I could get a free sample of raw dog food but I could also get a discount because they have senior discounts! She was so helpful and extremely nice, an all around wonderful experience I had today. With that kind of staff there's no way I would ever go anywhere else. Thank you Sama!

I'm not a fan of their multi purchase rewards program. If you go in and they don't have the food you want, so you buy something comparable, you don't get a point towards your purchases because you have to buy the same size and same brand every time. That's ridiculous.
