My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience with this shop! With the snowstorm in BC throwing off travel plans we didn’t have much time to put together our engagement outfits and they accomodated us taking my saree measurements over whatsapp with ease and professionalism. The quality of the outfits were high and they had a lot of choices. They were also so kind to offer us a deal for buying more than one piece. I felt immediate trust in them and the blouse and petticoat for my saree fit perfectly and were ready within 24h. Thank you so much!

I had an Indian wedding to attend and had no idea how to wear a saree. I literally called 2 hours before the wedding and the ladies here went above and beyond to help me out. They made me look picture perfect for this wedding. THANK YOU!!

Great customer service, super friendly and kind. The owners spent a lot of time helping us look through the collection to help find suits we liked. They had a variety of selections to choose from. She altered the suits at the store to fit perfectly. Great saree pleating service, she did a great job on the pre-pleating and it was so easy to wear the saree for a wedding event. Highly recommend it!

I had a fantastic experience shopping for traditional Indian outfits to attend a wedding. The owners are very kind, and they give honest and helpful advice. The four of us ended up feeling comfortable enough to get all of our outfits here before visiting any other stores. They also offer Saree dressing for a cost, which was very helpful for a newbie like me. I recommend this store wholeheartedly.

I went to this store today after getting a recommendation from one of my friend. And now I am sure it was a good advice indeed.They have a lot of collections with a variety of colours and designs.I got a beautiful Saree at a very reasonable price. The owner was very professional and helpful.Suganthy is a gem !! She was polite, organized, respectful yet friendly. I wish every store has a person like her!!!I will recommend all of my friends and family to go there for our ethnic outfits.I will definitely go there again whenever I need to get one.What a pleasant experience I had today !Thank you so much.Wish you a very successful business.

Wonderful shopping experience at Thurga Silks and Fashion. The owners were so kind and the store has an expansive selection of salwar kameez and other women’s attire. The owners helped my partner and me find some outfits for a wedding we are going to in a few weeks. The store seems to have a smaller men’s selection, but my partner still found a nice maroon kurta.The owners were able to alter my salwar kameez within a couple of hours. I would recommend stopping by if you need a beautiful silk outfit for your next celebration.

Given the scarcity of proper South Indian clothing stores in Vancouver, I would still say that this is a very decent place with a good variety of collections for women. Hospitality of the owner is appreciable. Would strongly recommend this place.

This was a heartwarming and excellent shopping experience. Heartwarming because when the owners found out I speak Sinhalese they spoke with me in Sinhalese and it really made me feel homesick, in a good way. I appreciated their kindness and patience while I tried on several options. They were very helpful with giving me the right feedback, and considering the beauty and quality of the clothing the prices are very, very reasonable. I can't wait to go back again.
