Our family had an amazing experience purchasing a larger tree. The staff was very patient, toured me through various areas of the nursery to find the right tree and even entertained my son while we were looking. Was also super impressed with the delivery service (which included tons of help positioning, raising, adjusting… until we got the look just right. Received great advice, the perfect tree and amazing service.

Spring is sprung, need tree stock - couldnt believe the Quality AND most importantly the Customer Service. This business really stands out with a culture of respect, honesty and trust. Need trees OR Nursery growing advicd, give them a call.

The staff was great and very helpful in selecting trees that have a chance at surviving in our area. Tor came and did a site inspection so we knew what had to be done before delivery. The delivery guys were very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure the trees were put in place despite extremely wet conditions. We would highly recommend Wheatland trees for all your tree and shrub needs.

We had no luck having trees bought from here lasting more than a few months. We bought 3 trees and had Wheatland trees deliver and install them. 2 out of the 3 died after the first winter. Had them replaced again with different tree varieties at our cost as there was no guarantee and even paid the extra cost for a warranty and those died too. The company did not honor the warranty on those replacement trees. I do not recommend buying trees from this company.

Experience seems to very. Bought a 50mm Snowbird Hawthorne in spring of 2021. Purchasing was a good experience. The whole row had aphid damage but we were assured this was superficial and not a concern. After planting, the tree budding was very weak and the leaves were stunted. We contacted them for advice and to make sure the warranty would cover this if the tree didn't make it. After sending photos of the tree leaves and depth of planting, they told us it was our fault that we buried it too deep and that we were over watering it; and they don't warranty their trees. They attached a leaflet from City of Calgary on how to water a tree. We are not new to trees and growing plants. We were not over watering and it was not buried too deep. The tree tried to make it through 2022 with all the help we could give it but has not made it into 2023. This tree did not die from over watering and being buried too deep. They were rude, condescending, gave no help, and wouldn't even offer a discount on a new tree. You are better off with buying from anywhere else. Even Canadian Tire warranty their stock (which I've always been able to bring back from nearly dead at the store). Buyer beware, hope your experience is better.

I needed about 25 trees at short notice last week and was referred by my local nursery to Wheatland trees. I was not very knowledgeable, and Tor gave me his cell number to text and call to answer all my questions. The Website was so comprehensive with pictures and information about the huge variety different trees and shrubs, sizes, and costs that they had available in order to plan my garden. I put an order in the next day and it was delivered the following day. The delivery guy was pleasant and had some planting tips for the landscaper when they were unloaded. I even made some last-minute changes in the morning of the delivery and they kindly accommodated me. I highly recommend Wheatland trees for the plant selection, quality of trees, the great prices, and their 5-star customer service.

Beautiful selection of trees excellent staff very friendly

Very good selections for trees at shrubs. We picked up 2 trees and 3 shrubs. We came from Calgary so had to do two trips. Thank you Helen for your assistance and help us load the tree to our car!
