Margie is very professional. She did amazing work on my 3 shirts and the hemming on one pair of pants. I highly recommend her!!!

Margie saved my bridesmaid dress after a tailor in Calgary almost ruiend it (hemmed it crooked and took it in so much that it could not zip by about 4 inches). The dress was very tricky fabric to work with, but Margie did such a good job that the fix looked completely intentional.And she charged significantly less than the original tailor!So lucky to have found this business!

I just picked up my items from Margies sewing, they were ready earlier than promised !! The work is meticulously done and the items fit me perfectly ! At the fitting Margie worked with me and made suggestions as to the way the alterations could be done to fit better. She also gave me options as to cost. This is my go to person!

Margie has done some excellent alterations for me including a pair of ripped jeans that she repaired in a very creative way that was a big hit with my granddaughter. Margie is personable, professional and easy to work with - I highly recommend her services.

In the past two decades I have witnessed Margie's talents on such varied works as fine gowns and even a Brant Goose mascot. And her work for me has been flawless.

I had taken my prom dress to Margie for a simple hem and to fix a few beads on the bodice. The work that she provided was well done but at a price that was more than double than what anywhere else would have charged. During the entire process, from the initial phone call to the consultation, she had never given me a quote for the alteration and had said that she doesn't do quotes but charges what she feels she should be paid for the job. Even with the far above average price that I had to pay for the alteration she offered to steam my dress but only with an extra charge. When I asked how much extra the steam would cost me she still wasn't able to give me an estimated price and decides how much it will be once she is finished. I am sharing my experience here so that those who are looking for a seamstress can understand the level of professionalism and etiquette that they will receive from Margie.
