What an awesome mom's diner experience. This place screams small town restaurant, the food is amazing! The staff are kind and friendly! The price is very reasonable. My son loves going just to watch the trains go around the restaurant. We had the breakfast buffet when we went and it was well worth the little wait we had. Every staff member needs a huge pat on the back, great job whifs

My family & I travelled to Drumheller for a camping trip and stopped at Whifs Flapjack House for their buffet on fathers day! We were so happy and impressed with not only the food but the service. Even with how busy the restaurant was, our waitress Ashley was so friendly and went above and beyond for us! We will definitely be back our next trip down :)

Stopped here for breakfast as one of the top rated in town. Beautiful sunny day on our way to touring the area and the Tyrell Museum. I had an omelette and French toast, very delicious. My husband had the big breakfast I think it was (eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast etc) all of it very good but unfortunately the hash browns were 1/2 raw (home fried potatoes). Otherwise it was clean, staff were attentive, decor is fun with the railroad on the ceiling. I would eat here again & recommend it. Thank you.

Amazing food, amazing wait staff, and an amazing atmosphere! This was our breakfast spot for our entire trip. My only complaint would be no breakfast buffet on weekdays, but I understand why. Overall, wonderful establishment. We will be back.

Absolutely delicious food. Everyone working there was so kind and our waitress was such a sweet lady! We had such a great meal and will be back for sure!

Had higher expectations based on reviews. Two stars because food was quite bland overall. Buffet tasted like it was all store bought food and nothing original made in-house. The waffle had a nice presentation, however was very dry and had a funky taste to it. All the fruit toppings were frozen berries and processed, no fresh fruit and whipping cream was store bought canned aerosol . I usually go to “hole in the wall” type places as they always seem to have the best food. Unfortunately, this just wasn’t it. Cleanliness needs to be worked on as well, our table was sticky and condiments were also sticky. Pros: The little train that travels around the restaurant on the roof was cute and little colourful picnic benches out by the sign. Severs did check-in often.

Great food and great prices. This is a little gem that you have to try the food is hearty and fresh. Lots to look at with the train going around fun for the kids. Thank you for an amazing breakfast will be back

A great diner! They had a breakfast buffet for $19 which seemed like a great value. The normal menu food portions were appropriate for the price too. The atmosphere was neat. They have model trains running along the ceiling. Service was prompt and friendly.

Breakfast at Whifs is a must! Delicious wholesome food, great service and atmosphere.I highly recommend the Denver Omlette with flapjacks and a side of bacon!

Small town breakfast place. The food was okay though we had a wait a while before it came. Staff was engaging and polite.There's a charming little train that runs a circuit around the diner.3 stars because the establishment isn't clean. 2 ladies' cubicles - one was extremely dirty when we came in and was the same when we left over an hour later. Floors and tables aren't that clean either, I had to wipe some fluid off our table when we sat down.
