Look Out Landscaping Ltd

LOVED all the work this team did on my front yard landscaping. The guys working were super friendly and nice. Always on time and did an amazing job. It was super easy to book the job and the results were exactly what I wanted! I will book again for the next job I need done!

I really needed help with some heavy materials (ie old fencing, stairs, broken air conditioner etc..) I’d put a notice up for help and Look Out Landscaping contacted me and their employees quickly came, were very nice took everything quickly away for me.! I’m also having them do a bunch of lawn work for me and am really looking forward to working with them again!

After city water main failure, I contacted Look out landscaping for a quote to repair damage to my yard as I needed the quote for a claim. They showed up promptly on time Dec 14 to measure and inspect the damages. I was told I should expect a quote in a few days. After two weeks I contacted them and they said they were still waiting for the boss's approval. Another couple weeks went by and talked to someone else who said they were all in the office and would finalize it that day. Many unanswered phone calls and messages since seemed to be ignored. Finally Feb 5 managed to make contact, and was told rather rudely that someone else was needed to come and give a quote as the original was not there as the person that did the quote no longer worked for them. Their lack of organization and professionalism has delayed my claim as they sat on my quote without so much as a word to me. Save your time, go with someone else. I did.

My mother hired this business to mow her lawn and put some soil in the garden. She was left with over $400 bill for a mid size lawn/garden. The worst part was not the ridiculous bill but their customer service. She had received an email with her invoice and two days had passed since receiving the emailed invoice. My mother had not checked her emails because of a death had just occurred in our immediate family. A woman called to tell her about this(two day) outstanding invoice, and my mother told her she was was dealing with a death in the family and wasn’t in Kamloops at the moment but would deal with the invoice. The response was not only not compassionate but rude, she did not acknowledge the situation and simply said, “we take credit card”. Understandably, this is a business that needs to be paid and my mother had no intentions of not paying but this is not good customer service, she will never be using this business again. I urge you to look elsewhere for this type of work, as there are many choices in Kamloops.

Needed help with awful dead, dry, messy, overgrown cedar bushes and tons of weeds in half acre lot. Team was able to do a quick assessment through photos I sent, and had workers out the next day. They spent the day and did everything I needed and more! Looks like a brand new property and I'm so ecstatic!!

ABSOLUTELYTHE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! they accepted the job of clearing snow at my elderly mother's home this winter, the same as we have contracted them for over 5 years, and then they just don't bother to show up. no call to say they couldn't come ..... nothing....... many attempts to contact them went unreturned.when I finally did get in touch with someone, there was not even an apology offered, just ABSOLUTE RUDENESS AND PATHETIC EXCUSES on the part of both Sarah and Doug. They were both EXTREMELY CONFRONTATIONAL and actually tried to put the blame for their inability to perform the AGREED UPON work on me. As you can see from their responses to other bad reviews it’s never their fault…… I’m sure they’ll write a response somehow shifting blame from themselves.This is how they do business....... They should be ASHAMED…..VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!How hard could it be to run a snow shovel crew?!?! DOUG?!?! Perhaps Doug would be better suited on the end of a shovel instead of PRETENDING to be a businessman! True businessmen understand the meaning of a contract!Leave running businesses to COMPETENT people!BEWARE BAD BUSINESS PEOPLE!!!!!!P.S As I said it wouldn't be their fault at all..............Personal attack??? you feel attacked by the truth???Can I add lying to my list of grievances with this company..........Yelled into the phone? Verbal attacks?? offered a short term solution?why don't you explain why you just didn't show up?why don't you explain why i couldn't get my calls returned?why don't you explain why you did not provide the agreed upon work?why don't you explain why, when you realized you were in over your head, you made no effort at all to contact us and let us know you were unable to perform the agreed upon work?Bringing my very recently deceased parents into this is the definition of DESPICABLE! I have a small for year old Peach tree that I hired look out to prune as I had never pruned a tree and was unsure the process . I hired look out they told me they would be there at 8:00 in the morning and that they charged $55 an hour for one person. I assumed that they would only send one person as the tree is very small and I attached a photo of said tree in my email communication with them. 2 people showed up at 824 as times damped on on my security camera one man on his cell phone at the start snipped the tiniest branches off of my tree while the 2nd senior man stood around to catch the tiny little pieces as they fell and put them in the truck(a total of maybe a shoebox was collected).. They finished and left at 8:40 . I get a phone call asking asking about the bill which they sent to an incorrect email so I asked them what the total of the bill was and I was told a $115. I said there is no way for 15 minutes of work as recorded on my cameras was it going to cost a $115.. We will see how the conversation goes when I receive a phone call from someone of authority in the company to discuss this absurd amount For the most minimal amount of work.. I will change my Google Review with an update when I have one.i have posted a before and after photo.

They did my spring clean up at my home, Power raking etc, they were quick, professional and easy to deal with. The were very responsive when I emailed them to request the service and easy to pay.

Do you ever wonder how some companies survive.I wanted to put this review because the work they put in my place was absolutely garbage. The owners are extremely rude and did not want to help. These people seems like customers invite the companies. Save yourself some money find somebody else I did after and cost me more to fix their mistake.Save yourself some money and And I real professional these people are not professional in anyway.Just because you put a landscaping name on your company doesn’t mean you know how to do landscaping.
