I am so grateful I found Bernadette. I recently had my second accupuncture/cupping/scraping with her as I am 10weeks postpartum. She has been helping me with healing damaged nerves from csection, edema and scar tissue post op, a past knee injury and neck pain to name a few things. After both sessions I noticed a big positive shift with my overall energy and significant reduction in pain, stiffness and discomfort. I feel more like myself as a new mom. I wish I found her sooner! I will be booking another appointment soon and 100% recommend anyone looking to improve health and wellness to schedule an appointment.

In 2021, I searched for an alternative fertility treatment after a failed InVitro attempt. Finding Bernadette Yu was a blessing.In the first visit, she read all my medical history regarding fertility from 2016-2021 (5 years of results from me and my husband!!!). She flipped all those dozens of pages and identified so many extra things that the regular doctors never even mentioned to me. It feels like she was looking at me “360 degrees” … “From head to toes”. :)The treatment itself were Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. But we had some sessions of cupping and massage added when necessary.Each visit to Bernadette was incredible valuable to me. They were not simply acupuncture sessions. It feels like she was sharing with me every single piece of knowledge she had. I learned SO MUCH about my health; about nutrition, toxins, how to gently detox my body naturally; how our bodies produce certain hormones and how it can impact negatively in other things; about healthy and safe supplements; and about specific exercises and routines that could help with my case.In addition, she was very honest since the beginning. In my case, she never promised any improvement short term, even though this is exactly what I was looking for. She gave me a realistic expectation. She estimated a natural body rebalancing after one year of treatment based on my health issues. However, my future health exams proved that it happened earlier than that (about 10 months).She is impressive knowledgeable about what she is doing and she really goes above and beyond to help us to reach our goals. She followed-up every week; she was uncovering my health habits each during each session, and giving orientation regarding it. Besides, she very empathetic, very caring, very pleasant person, and a very spirited human being.Even though the regular doctors put pressure on us that our clock is ticking for fertility (age), the Chinese medicine and acupuncture and all the nutritional aspects covered by Bernadette proved that we can be healthy and fertile naturally at later age too. We have to just trust the process and realize that a reverse of a negative diagnosis naturally can take longer, but it works and it is worthwhile.

Excellent accupunturist, started noticing a huge difference in my ankle, hand and neck pain. Also Dr recommended diet modifications which is helping alot with inflamation. Highly recommend, you won't find such a knowledgeable caring professional anywhere.

Dr. Yu is a great Acupuncturist. She is very kind and knowledgeable. I booked an appointment to see her after reading all the reviews. I have to say I am so lucky to find her to treat my frozen shoulder and neck pain.. I was in a lot of pain but just after the first two treatments, I have already felt so much better. With several visits, my shoulder now is almost 100% recovered. I highly recommend her. She is very good of what she does. She loves her work and she is passionate of helping people. I'll personally give her 10 stars. Thankyou so much Dr. Yu .

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Bernadette is one of the most genuine and caring professionals I have dealt with. I came to her after spending over a year at a fertility clinic with useless results. She listened to my concerns and with her guidance, set treatments and change in diet, I was pregnant in less than three months. She knows exactly what she’s doing and the best part is that she works case by case. I have recommended her to many friends and will continue to visit her, so glad I have met her!

Wanted to update my review after 3 years of having the pleasure of Bernadette’s consistently good services. If you are looking for someone to treat your aches and pains. I have found Bernadette to be very good at treating my various issues. Whether it be my back, knees, sciatic, circulation in my legs, dry skin…etc. She is very knowledgeable, thoughtful and caring. I have found Bernadette goes the extra mile and continually stays abreast of the latest treatments. I honestly believe she takes a unique approach to each of her clients. It shows how much she cares about her client’s individual needs and her profession.I had the pleasure of meeting Bernadette today to receive acupuncture for the first time. She is very good at what she does. I have to agree with other comments made about Bernadette being very professional, knowledgeable, caring and going the extra mile. She put me at ease by explaining what she was doing. It is good to know there are fine practitioners like Bernadette. It is a pleasure giving her 5 stars, because she definitely deserves it.

I've been seeing Bernadette since Nov 2022, following a vehicle collision earlier that year. I wasn't sleeping well since my neck was still sore so I decided to give acupuncture a try. Bernadette assessed my symptoms and performed acupuncture from head to toe, as well as hot stone massage and cupping on my back. I felt instant relief! Bernadette is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work as an acupuncturist, and truly cares about her clients. She reads up on medical journals to expand her knowledge and keep up to date with latest findings. I always learn a thing or two during my appointment, and the time flies by when you receive excellent treatment and conversation like talking to a good friend. I'm so glad I found Bernadette, and would highly recommend her!

Had almost 4 visits with her in the last 2 months. It was my first time doing accupuncture with someone, and i already noticed improvement in my back pain and energy levels from the 2nd visit on. She chats with you during the treatment, and I find the chats help take off my mind from the needles! I am already noticing a great reduction in my hair fall, which was also one of the reasons i see her. I wasn't much of a believer in accupuncture before this, but now i recommend it to everyone!

Very professional and listens to your needs. Bernadette takes utmost care of your problems to make sure you heal. Very good experience and my pain has significantly improved.
