Our son was here for a few years, the experience was fabulous. He received great care, loved the activities, flexible pick-up & drop off times, the *only* place we could find that didn't make us pay full time even when our son was there part-time sometimes. Bethany is incredible. Loved that there was an in-house chef so we knew our son was getting nutritious food & loved that he was exposed to different food textures & spices. A very special place where everyone takes their job seriously.

Absolutely shameful that they told me they are out of spot just a week before the start date.Even though we had paid the deposit 5 months in advance.As a result i have to send my daughter to the halifax daycare from coleharbour as we dont have any other option.The director and management havnt even gotten back to me regarding where we are in the waiting list despite my several emails.

My wife and I initially filled out the registration form online. We were contacted, and told there was an open house on August 6th, 2022.When we arrived at the designated time, the doors were all locked. Several other families had arrived while we were waiting, and similarly found the doors locked - and a few of them just left.We tried calling the centre to see if the open house was still on, but no one was answering. About 30 minutes past the time, we decided to walk to perimeter again, and were finally let in - evidently the doors were not unlocked like they thought they were. While we were in orientation, no fewer than 5 other families experienced the same locked door experience.The orientation was great, and we filled out another registration form. We were told that we would be contacted shortly with more information, and to complete registration.We sent some follow up questions, and were excited to get registered, as the director had indicated they were booking as far as September 2024, so we wanted to ensure we got a spot.The days went on and we had no contact, so I filled out the form online again, which indicated I would receive an email or a call within 24 hours. That time passed, and I sent a follow up email, and attempted to call both the head office and the local centre - where no one is picking up.I've tried engaging on the Facebook page as well, hopeful to get a response so we can register our child and reserve a spot.If the centre is not able to take on any additional children, it would be appreciated to have some sort of response other than dead silence. With childcare being such a hot commodity these days, I'd like to know if I need to move on to an alternate daycare.

Great care, communication and flexibility. One of the few places I reached out to that I didn’t feel I was irritating the director by asking for part time care. Bethany is super easy to talk to, I feel my concerns are taken seriously and my son absolutely loves his teachers. Love receiving daily updates on food, naps, diaper changes and getting pictures of him exploring and creating artwork. Since starting care 2 months ago his vocabulary has gone through the roof, he’s learning so much. Highly recommend kids and co Dartmouth!

I had enrolled my son for a July start date back in February. During enrolment, I paid the deposit and monthly fee, and explained how my original childcare plans had fallen through 3 weeks before my return to full time work. They contacted me two weeks before my sons start date letting me know they were unable to transition my son into their care (the exact situation I informed them I was trying to avoid)They were able to issue me a full refund and I am currently waiting for that to arrive via post. I understand things happen, but it seems that they are unable to plan appropriately. I will note they offered me Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the Halifax location, but when I live and work in Cole Harbour, it does not make sense for me to travel across the bridge. Very poor experience and so unfortunate.

Sweet staff that really seem to enjoy the children, following the rules by the book. The food smells delicious and apparently my kid eats most of their meals so that’s a huge win. Thank you for the great care and kindness you have shown. Also huge plus for the updates through the day as well as the ability to check the cameras to see how the day looks for them.

Contacted the company, got their generic email with attachments but had other questions. I emailed a few times and even called and left a message. Have yet to hear from anyone and that was months ago. If time can’t be made for me then how is time managed with the kids? No thanks!!

Really great and well worth the price

We dropped by for an advertised Open House (for which we had confirmed our attendance) this past Saturday. The place was locked up tight. Another family told us they had been stood-up last year too. I wasn't impressed with the outdoor play area and obviously have concerns about communication and general business practices.
