This place is disgusting, used to go there but they got closed for health violations. Thought I'd try it once more, even worse. Just don't do it lol trust me, if you do pickup you'll see exactly what I'm talking about, or you'll get sick.

We used to order from Orange door 2 or 3 times a month..lately we have been noticing the portions have been getting smaller..fried rice portions have really been smaller by 30%..hope they can get the proportions in line..prices go up but not the proportions..

Good value for the amount of food we got and they tasted better than some other Chinese restaurants on the North Shore. Delivered to us within the time frame we were told when our order was placed.

Read the one star reviews to my wife and she made the decision to go anyway. Well times must have changed or maybe a cook has been replaced but the food was hot , the S+S pork had lottsa sauce , the noodles were good and the service just fine. This will be our place to go to next time as it is close by and despite so many bad reviews we found it to be really good.

Staff is very helpful and accommodating of food allergies - they always check with the chefs before confirming the order to ensure that there won't be any issues. Delivery can be a bit of a wait but pick up orders are ready within 10-15 minutes. The food is great and the portions are generous. We will continue to order here and recommend the Orange Door to others.

Nope. Use to be our go to Chinese restaurant. The food quality has fallen off a cliff. It's use to be very busy and open 6 days a week. Now it's open 3 days and slow. They use to have 4 cooks and 3 other staff on Friday and Saturday nights. Now it's 2 cooks and 2 staff 3 days a week. Others have stopped buying their cat food And I don't say car food to be mean It's the quality of their food now.

The first time we ordered (2021) Orange Door was great. The second time (early 2023) was disappointing. The portions were smaller and the quality had gone downhill. Not terrible, but not nearly as good.I'm leaving my original review up so you can see what I liked about my first experience - and just in case I'm happier if/when I try them again. We ordered delivery in Oct 2021 and were very pleased with the experience. We ordered the Dinner for 2. Spring rolls, chicken chow mein, sweet & sour pork, and beef chop suey. The price on their menu has changed a bit, I guess 10% - from $31 to $34 - and I'd say it was worth it.This was a Saturday evening, so they were very busy, but also quite frank about it: telling me right off the bat that a delivery would be about 80-90 minutes. The delivery arrived in that time (maybe even a free minutes early) and it was great. It was nice opening the containers, too. They were quite full, very good portions, they smelled great, and the food appeared crisp and properly cooked right when it arrived. The chow mein was good, pretty much what I was expecting; strong flavour that pretty much needed the sweet & sour to balance it out.The S&S pork wasn't exactly the texture I was expecting, but the difference in how it was made was a good change and it tasted just right. The chop suey was an explosion of flavour, you really knew it was there and dominated the dish when things got mixed together. Large chunks of veggies and very tender beef. The flavour might have been a bit strong for me, but I know that many people want more than I do.But the spring rolls were absolutely amazing! I have to say these are the best that I've ever tasted anywhere. The are a large size, they have great texture and beautiful flavour. I could (and probably will) compliment them for ages, and to many people. While I do want to go back to try more of the menu (I must try the chicken balls!) I know that I'll want to get the spring rolls with every order - and that's something I've never said before at any restaurant. The extras were nice. There were ample amounts of plum and soy sauce, and 2 fortune cookies. I don't remember seeing chop sticks, but I didn't ask for any, so that didn't bother meNow back to 2023, you can see what I was expecting from my first experience - and the second meal really did not come close to the first one. This made me drop my rating two stars for now; we'll see if things pick up next time.

The food used to be amazing! The Ginger Beef & Orange Beef was rock hard, basically just hardened breading. The sweet & Sour sauce was congealed and goopy. Chicken chow Mein was definitely day old food that was reheated. Will not be ordering again.

I ordered 3 dishes, and requested 3 condimentpackets of chilly oil ... they did not give any.To be honest, without the chilly oil and soy sauce, the food is bland, and tastes old.The sweet and sour had no sweet and sour sauce... it was just dry and flavorless. The almond chicken was ok, but the Kung pow chicken was terrible. Just tiny bits of chicken in a mass of celery and some flavorless sauce. When there are so many other restaurants with better quality, better flavour, and better customer service, I won't be ordering from this restaurant ever again.
