WTF? Ordered the #14 Rare Cooked Beef and Beef Ball Pho (take out) and this is what I received - see pics. Have you ever seen an off-white beef? So rare beef, is red. Cooked beef is brownish. And this rare beef was an off-white, beige like colour! Not beef!!! In fact, I thought maybe pork when I first saw it, but they do not have a pork pho, and then I smelled it and it didn't smell like pork, nor chicken for that matter, and after trying it the taste and texture were all wrong. Definitely not chicken, either. The mystery meat was cut super thin and was very soft, but unbelievably chewy. It was chewy that I just couldn't get it chewed up enough to swallow the piece I had in my mouth and had to spit it out, not to mention the texture was giving me the creeps. To make matter worse, the noodles were very undercooked to the point of being inedible and the best I can say for the broth was that it was broth if very thin and flavourless. I'm guessing that to cut costs they put the hoisin and hot sauce into one plastic cup so you couldn't choose the amount or if you wanted to one or the other in. Bizarre experience. I'm freezing the pho and contacting Alberta Health Services as this meat was just plain wrong.

Been coming here for 6 years and have never had bad service nor a bad meal. Best place to eat in the city if you like Vietnamese cuisine.

Staff? AMAZING. Food? MINDBLOWINGI love this place so much, I’ve always been beyond happy with the customer service and never once have I had an issue with their food. They create such a welcoming and peaceful environment truly welcoming to all groups of people

Service - very poor. Food - middle of the lane, nothing to write about.We were there at about 07:30 or so with my family (3 people) and there was only one other table that was occupied by 2 other people and the staff was at a rush as soon as they sat us down and wanted us out of there as soon as they could.It would have helpful if they told us they wanted to close down soon before they sat us down then we could have made our choice.

I live in the Ne of Calgary, but I make the drive every single time for this amazing Vietnamese food.The chef is doing an amazing job, and the owner/server is doing incredible!!5 stars !!!

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant of all tried thru SkipTheDishes. The 2 grilled pork chops on good quality rice with sliced fresh cucumber, shredded carrot and dip is excellent, enough for 2 meals. I add on 1 fried egg $2 and a $5 order of perfectly steamed vegetables for a more balanced meal. Veggies include cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, celery and pea pods. it all comes in one container.

Been ordering thru skip the dishes from this resto since the lockdown. The beef soup surely is tasty and well presented. Issues on the succeeding orders were they often forget to give chili, lime,meatball and the beans sprout. But despite the missing ingredients the soup is still the best.

3 star experience. Clean location. The seafood noodle dish lacked flavour soup wise and they just kinda put in ok seafood ingredients. Maybe should have ordered the vermichilli bowl or pho. One of the servers (the bald one) was a little rude when I asked where to sit and he replied curtly “anywhere with a menu”.
