Water Babies

Prosserman is a beautiful facility, with clean change rooms and nice salt water pools. However Water Babbies is super disorganized and the management is extremely unprofessional and poor. There is always an unacceptable excuse why the small pool is closed for lessons - temperature, power outage, children peeing in the pool, etc. When this happens, there is no apology offered, or refund, and the instructors do not deal with parental complaints or concerns adequately at all. They just shrug their shoulders and try to act like it’s normal. My daughter lost 7 lessons in one year to various pool closures, light outages, pool contamination issues. If you contact the office, they will offer ONE makeup lesson at a location that is far fromyou and totally inconvenient which no parent I talked to makes it to.Their billing cycles are unethical, and they don’t offer official invoices or receipts. There is no clear record how much each lesson costs, and the office is slow to respond to any emails. Their instructors are like unqualified camp counselors in water, who just high five the kids and make the parents do all the heavy lifting. It’s basically games in water - no structure to the lessons and no expertise offered. After a couple months, it’s the same games, and once your child gets comfortable in the water, they will quickly plateau and not develop their skills Toddlers who are 3+ learn almost next to nothing most lessons but how to splash water and high five instructors and blow water out of their mouths. The parents have to be in the pool the entire time and the instructors are lazy and make them do all the work.Their approach to lessons is very hands off and it is clear they have no technical expertise, knowledge, or true swimcoaching experience. The instructor do not differentiate their lessons, or increase challenge appropriately. They make almost no adjustments from week to week based on who is in their class. For the price, it’sjust not with it and not to be taken seriously; it’s misleading to call these swimming lessons or the instructors coaching. The instructors like the pool closures also happen at the drop of a hat without the office communicating any messages to parents before lesson. You’ll just have toarrive and be dissappointed timeafter time, and they just force you to accept it. I’m taking my daughter out and signing her up somewhere else after this month is over! There are much better, more organized, professional, and reliable swimming programs and classes out there.

Prosserman is the most beautiful pool! So warm abs clean my baby loves it! The staff are excellent and the swim instructor is amazing! Such a fun program that has such great skills building! Highly reccomend water babies at Prosserman pool!
