Glow Abbotsford

Harvest glowWasn’t sure what to expect with this but was really confused by what it was! It was fun ... I think?! A carnival in a barn with pumpkins on turf from an old football field - with random shops that don’t really have much cohesion or theme - swings, playground sets, a corn maze and an odd smell! Don’t get me wrong; it was enjoyable but I just don’t know what this place is!

Great venue! Lots of lights, lots of room, lots of parking, all inside, fun activities for everyone and alcohol served in center along with food! Well ran and put together event. Lovely live music!! So much to explore for the children, good for adults as well! Reindeer scavenger hunt!

We enjoyed the event. We easily found parking despite coming at a busy time on the closing night. There were 5-6 food trucks located outside the main entrance. Line-ups for food and drinks were short, and prices were reasonable. Unfortunately they were sold out of light bulb drinks prior to 6 p.m. Although we ate underneath the tent outside, tables and chairs were available inside the venue. The inside was warm, which was definitely an advantage compared to other holiday lights displays we have visited previously. It took us approximately an hour to walk around and check out market vendors and light displays. The light displays were nice, and different than what we have seen elsewhere, but there weren't that many of them (compared to some other venues). It was a bit challenging to take photographs as the venue was very busy. Still it was a nice event to check out once. I think the event is most suitable for families with kids (there was a kids play area and activities) and for those who wish to experience holiday lights without feeling the chill of outdoors. Keep in mind that if you intend to just do a walk around, you can be out of the venue in 20-ish minutes. However, if you stop and check out the vendors and take pictures of the lights displays plus eat and drink you can spend up to couple hours in this place.

We went as part of a group. The venue is nicely done and the convenience is that it is indoor. There are a multitude of stalls selling Christmas wares and treats. The live music is fun and plays Christmas favourites. There is a bar and various stations inside that serve beer, wine and cider (too bad there is no mulled spice wine"). The food trucks are parked outside with a variety of choices...a little complaint: burgers

Always great. Indoors, heated and not muddy. It was improved over last year with more things to do for the kids and the passport was fun. Great light displays showing famous buildings from around the world. If you have the chance go!

Spent a couple of hours here with the family. We had no idea of what to expect before we arrived. Its mostly indoors with only the food trucks outside. Lots of stuff for the kids including a train ride, mini golf, bouncy toys and photos with Santa. The trip around the world has iconic landmarks lit up and getting a passport stamped gets the kids a prize at the end. The vendors have lots of Christmas ideas and the food is good. There's a bar for the grownups. There's lots of parking and you don't have to walk far to the entrance.

Great family outting. Indoors so if it's a rainy day it's a good choice for something to do. It changed every year so it will always be different. Great place to take the kids both young and small. Live music as well as craft stalls. Food trucks located outside with a couple different selections. Overall great experience, would recommend.

We visited for Harvest Glow this fall - the indoor pumpkin patch started off the season. It's safe, warm, indoor, soft floored and there's lots to see and do. Live music was a nice touch, and the adult beverages were a welcome addition. Back at Christmas, we really enjoyed the mini train, live music and international-themed lights!

We enjoyed Glow with our daughter on Jan 1st. This is a great indoor family activity during the winter. We bought our tickets during the 40 percent off boxing day sale. I'm not sure I would pay full price to attend this event though. Parking is free and there is plenty, but the lots are very dark and not paved. I saw many families having a tough time with small kids and strollers getting through the parking lot. We found the picnic tables inside by the stage very dirty and covered with food. There didn't seem to be anyone cleaning them. The carnival games were alot of fun but they all give the exact same prize (a Quatchi stuffie). We won 2, at 2 different games. The Green carpet on the mini golf greens were ripped and wrinkled... Needs to be replaced. We enjoyed the Glow Around The World lights. They were beautiful and lots of room to walk around. We also enjoyed some from from the food trucks outside. The staff were friendly and overall it was a fun evening but I do think the ticket price is a bit high.

We stumbled upon this garden while driving by the area, we r able to get tickets at the entrance for $25/pp. A neat experience of how everything was organized. Liked the lights display a lot better then other places we have seen. Not a lot of food selection only a few food trucks. Roughly need an hour or bit to see the entire place at a decent pace. Free parking available.
