We worked with Hapa Construction to renovate our shipping office and install new carpets in the sales office at the Sleeman warehouse/facility on Annacis Island. With a quick deadline and a short turnaround time, the Hapa team didn't have much wiggle room to work with as we initiated the project in the fall of 2021 and needed to have it completed before the end of the calendar year.Luke and his team got to work quickly and came up with a plan to execute all the renovations in the small window provided to them. With regular onsite visits and providing plenty of samples to choose from (flooring, paint colours, light fixtures, etc.), the selections were made and the project was underway in a matter of weeks.Regardless of the short renovation window, the Hapa team provided quality work and did not rush any parts of the job. Any small deficiencies that were noted were fixed in a matter of a couple days. Luke provided regular communication and updates throughout the entirety of the project and was available to answer any questions that we had. He also made recommendations to areas that we had overlooked during the planning process.The team at the Sleeman facility in Delta is extremely happy with the finished product and would not hesitate to recommend Luke and the Hapa Construction crew to anyone looking to renovate their space in the future.

We recently had a long overdue stairs and fence project completed by Hapa Construction and what a positive experience it was. Luke was able to start and complete the project on our schedule which also required coordination with a heat pump installer's needs. This showed flexibility and the ability to adapt. His partner Mike completed the bulk of the work and he was more than capable as well as a pleasure to have at our home. Hapa Construction worked on our house on and off over the last year and a half... they are so skilled and diverse that it seems we kept finding jobs for them to do! The main tasks they completed were fixing the siding of the house, building an accessible attic, and completely gutting and rebuilding the basement level. In addition, they renovated an office for us in a historic building.Luke and Mike were always fantastic to work with. They were reliable, hardworking, knowledgeable, and nice to chat with - though their superpower was the attention to detail, as we never had to worry that they would do the job right. We contracted with Hapa Construction for major renovations of our 60 year old home in 2022/2023. It is universally acknowledged that renovation projects are expensive and stressful, and this one was no exception, but Luke and his team did what they could to make our experience as painless as possible.We were very pleased with the quality and care they brought to the project, and the troubleshooting through weird bits as they came up. We did not live in the house for most of the renovations, but we did have to come back home before renovations were fully complete and appreciated the efforts to keep things clean and quiet for us while we worked around each other. Luke and his team at Hapa renovated our kitchen, 2 baths and flooring: delivered a day ahead of schedule and on budget, despite supply chain issues with IKEA drawers. So he had built some custom bath cabinet drawers for us: had I known, I would have had him do the kitchen drawers as well!
