Super surprised by the way this place operates. Sales come second to providing the community with literature. He was polite attentive and even gave me a free book because he seen how excited I was to see such a selection from an obsolete fun title

Darren is a person who knows his Authors and takes into consideration what a person likes to read. He will suggest new Authors for you that you never knew about.He can keep you reading for months.I know because he does this for me.Its no wonder that this store is the oldest in Winnipeg.

I have been going to the Selkirk Book Exchange now for years. Darren is a wonderful person who obviously loves books. He is very helpful by suggesting different authors, depending on the type of books a person reads. He has introduced me to many authors I had not heard of and for the most part he was right on with his suggestions. I love going to his store and never come away with less than 20 - 30 books to keep me busy.
