Dynacare Laboratory and Health Services

We had an appointment book for 1230. Showed up at 1215. And they are closed for the day. Waste of a work day for me and a waste of a school day for my child.

Only one technician working who has to not only draw the blood but also do the administrative tasks of registration, answer the phone and manage appointments for those tests that take appointments. He is very quick and doing his best but this is ridiculous for one person. The website is not up to date. Opening time is posted as 8:30. I arrived at 8:30 only to find people in front of me who had been waiting for some time. Apparently they open at 7:30. I waited 1 hour when there were only 3 people ahead of me. Right after me the technician was going to take his break which he is definitely entitled to, but this meant the 5 people after me now had to wait much longer. This is a very inefficient lab. Not to mention the place is very run down. Very disappointing.

The man who works here is very friendly even though he works alone and is very busy.

My appointment was at 8:30 AM for medical test and I was out at 8:40 AM, really fast and straightforward.

Difficult to find location. No name boards outside. You need to enter the Trainyards medical center and find it. Service is good, but timings may change. Plan for it.

1 - only one person seemed to be working.2 - stupidly slow, probably because of a lack of staff, who knows3 - you can't see it!!!!! No signs anywhere! I had to read one of the comments from Google maps to find it. You have to go into the medical center waaaaay over to the left of the building, no where near where the arrow shows on Google maps. Then you'll find it hiding inside the medical center in a far left corner behind a hallway. My God could they didn't even try to want to be seen by the public.4 - i didn't bother staying long enough to really find out. I gave up after 20m of no interations from any dynacare employee. Seemed to be no system in place to see people, by this i mean people just stand in the hallway waiting for someone to call next. And I guess its a free for all and hope people are nice enough to stay in line?5 - will never be coming back to this location. Just an extremely terrible experience, the second terrible dynacare, the first being just before this one which turned out to be closed when Google says it was open.

One 1 person working, not very professional, long wait times, doesn't tell you they close at 1230pm.....

Went to lab at 3:10pm. It was already closed despite the hours listed as open until 4pm. Not very health savvy. Had to drop off samples for urgent testing .Friday July 9th.
