We have a husky puppy and he was so crazy about biting and playing and sometimes we were just so tired of his behaviour.Until we met Alex.The methods he teaches us are very helpful and our puppy is starts to behave much better after the first session.We are looking forward to work with Alex in more and more training sessions.

We've been working with Alex at Bark Busters for a few months now. We've had behavioural issues with our 2 dogs and have since seen steady progress. Alexandre helped us settle an aggressively issue we had with our two dogs that we did not manage to fix with other trainers or through online videos. I was very pleased with Alexandre's overall knowledge about dogs and their way of viewing the world around them and their body language. We contacted BarkBusters recently to get help for our Labrador who has been a bit aggressive lately. Please read if your dog is aggressive towards other dogs or people. Alex did a lot for us but most of all he taught us how to manage our dogs behaviour to get the outcome we want. He is excellent.Our dog, Ollie, was victimized and brutalized right in front of us in a kids park when he was a just a few months old by a vicious dog.We had seen 2 previous trainers. One told us to medicate him and the other told us to give him away as he belongs in a warehouse ( this is not an exaggeration or a joke.)My wife and I were really down as the two previous trainers did not offer any realistic advice and actually “fired” us as clients.I remember reading testimonials about Alex and thought to myself “yeah right , maybe for these people and their pets but he can’t do anything for us, Ollie has suffered to great of a trauma”.I also remember speaking to Alex for 45 minutes the first time we had a conversation. I told him about how we were fired, the trauma our dog suffered as a baby, how discouraged we were that he was exhibiting aggressive and frankly very concerning behaviour towards some people and most dogs.Alex cares, he listened and asked me a question that I hadn’t been asked before by the previous trainers. “What are your expectations”. I simply said I want to be able to take my dog for a walk without him pulling (60lbs American bully) , feel confident he won’t attack anyone outside the household, and for him not to have freak outs at everyone outside !!!My family and I are relieved and thankful for Alex as he came in to our house open minded, mission oriented, receptive, understanding and accommodating.As a result , we have managed with Alex’s support, to get a handle on our dog. We can go on peaceful walks, our dog no longer patrols the outside in paranoia(!), and he listens to us better.We know that he may still have “freak outs” there is no magic solution but we have managed to drastically minimize it to the point where we are confident that we have a strong handle on it.Alex is awesome and I would highly recommend him. Alex literally gave us our life back! Last year we adopted Tasha, a senior husky and former sled dog who immediately developed severe separation anxiety when we adopted her and it meant that she could never be left alone in the house by herself. We looked into dog trainers in the Laval area but none seemed to offer the training we were looking for to help with this problem, but then thankfully we found Alex and Bark Busters. One phone call was all it took to solidify that Alex was the answer to our prayers, and he certainly proved to be.With his guidance and willingness to try different techniques, we made some progress but it was slow. We felt bad as ours was an especially challenging case but Alex was always so patient and supportive and was always available to support us, whether it was in-person or multiple evening time FaceTime calls. Finally we came to the conclusion that a companion for Tasha could help alleviate her separation anxiety so with Alex's help, we adopted another senior husky (Rosie). Alex was there the day we brought her home so he was able to supervise the first meeting between them and he followed up with us over the next few days to see how things were progressing. After a few days we were able to leave Tasha and Rosie alone at home together for half an hour - it was only 30 minutes but this was the first time in 5 months that we got our autonomy back so to us those 30 minutes felt like an amazing vacation! We were quickly able to progress to leaving them alone for longer and now we are so happy to report that they can both safely stay at home by themselves for up to 6 hours and we no longer have to stress about last minute emergencies or bringing Tasha with us everywhere we go.We could not have done any of this without Alex's support and guidance so we are grateful to him forever!
