Durham Periodontics: Dr. Omar Usman

I had a great experience at Dr.Usman's clinic. I had gum surgery and everything was explained to me ahead of time. The day of the surgery went smoothly and I even got to pick my own music for during the procedure. They were very professional, made sure I was comfortable during and after, and even checked in that evening via text message to make sure that I was doing ok and to see if I had any questions or concerns. I highly recommend their office!

Dr. Usman done my implant surgery which went smoothly, I went home minimal bleeding and no pain very little swelling. Staff followed to see how I was doing the next morning. Staff and Dr. Usman are very caring and I recommend his office.

Dr. Omar ensured to detail the process and all steps of the dental surgery he was going to perform on me so I could understand if there was any risk involved. Dr Osmar ensured I was comfortable through the whole process by checking in constantly with questions. A very trustful environment!

Everyone is so nice and makes you feel comfortable. I must say the day of my procedure the efficiency of everyone from the ladies at the front desk to Dr Usman and his assistant Lindsay were fantastic. My papers had been submitted to my benefits company and prescription to my pharmacy before I was ready to leave.Dr Usman and Lindsay were great at explaining everything; including post-op care; Dr Usman even provides an after hours number you can reach him at anytime in case you have concerns/questions. The entire office is well run and super friendly.

I am glad that I found Dr Omar Usman, who I found to be very knowledgable, sincere, caring, and passionate about his job. Dr. Usman's exceptionally caring approach and understanding of my situation, allowed me to overcome my fears and discomfort to feel comfortable and relaxed before undergoing my procedure. I recently had a gum graft done by Dr. Usman. I was nervous about the procedure and the recovery. Although, it was reassuring to see the confidence and kindness that Dr. Usman exuded at the consultation. Dr. Usman and his team took the time to answer any questions that I had.I attended Dr. Usman office a year earlier for an assessment and at the time I did not require any treatment. When the time did come that Dr. Usman recommended having a graft done - I had full confidence in his recommendation.The procedure and healing went better than I could have ever imagined and exceeded my expectations by far. Though out the procedure Dr. Usman and his team were very professional and incredibly kind. They made the environment feel less clinical and more relaxed. This is great for anyone struggling with anxiety.Dr. Usman followed up the evening of my procedure to see how I was doing, which was greatly appreciated.I will recommend Dr. Usman to anyone requiring the care of a Periodontist. Dr Usman is very talented and exceptional at what he does. My son (13yrs old) had oral surgery with Dr. Usman. It could not have been a better experience. Dr. Usman and his team were always so friendly, calm, professional and attentive. The office is run so well, organized and clean. Dr. Usman and his team are always willing to answer questions (phone, in person, text) no matter how big or small the question is, they made sure we felt st ease, understood and that we were okay with what was happening/next steps and care plan. Finding a better periodontic practice would be a definite challenge. I've had my dental hygiene needs looked after by them these past 2 years, and recently had oral surgery. Dr Usman is the best, and his support team is amazing. You couldn't ask for a more caring and expert group to manage your oral health, and ensure all is taken care of.
