5 juumon points ~I love to fish and this shop was so very helpful and well-stocked with everything I needed and everything I was looking for!I got A whole bunch of new gear and a few little things as gifts for Christmas coming up this month.I will try to find any excuse to come back and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for some new equipment or maybe thinking about starting to fish as a hobby.Thanks, have a good one!!!!

Lots of selection of flies and tying material, don't be fooled though, this is not a typical fly shop. I would say this is a 50/50 fly to conventional tackle store, lots of knowledge but not expertise when it comes to fly fishing.

These folks are top notch! They are always helpful and are very knowledgeable for both fly fishing (they tie some excellent flies in-house) in rivers/stillwater and trolling in saltwater. They were kind enough to recently send my wading boots back to the supplier and advocate that they be repaired or replaced as they had a defect. I love reading their weekly fishing report as well!

Cannot recommend this shop enough! I was recently down on the coast from Kamloops with the plan to stop into Pacific Angler to get a steelhead rod and reel setup. The level of service from Eric was astounding. He went through every aspect of choosing the rod, reel, tackle and set the rod up to the point I could have dropped the line into the Vedder when passing through and start fishing. Before leaving I spoke to the owner and told him he has an amazing store and staff providing fantastic customer service. If you need anything for fishing Pacific Angler is the place to go hands down.

I reached out to Pacific Angler for a river salmon fishing trip and did not regret it one bit. We went out as a group of 3 and our guide Ryan took great care of us. Each of us caught multiple fish and learned a lot from Ryan not only in fishing technique but also river etiquette. Even though the weather was not the best, everyone had a blast because we caught so many fish to the point where we didn't want to take pictures with each fish we caught. To cap it off, Ryan brought us to a restaurant in Squamish where we had some insanely delicious food. We plan on going again for another trip this spring to try and fish for steelhead. Ryan could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable and we would highly recommend going on a trip with him

The folks at Pacific Angler couldn’t be more solid. They humoured my idea to make cat-safe lures (using plastic tubing that I snipped off excess) that my kitties LOVE.I know it’s not fishing but it sure is emblematic of the customer service quality!

A friend and I went on a float trip down the Squamish river targeting Coho this past week. Our guide Jake was exceptional, and a pleasure to spend the day with. He got us onto so many fish that our arms were sore the next day. He handled the raft with ease, and coached me into my first fish on the fly rod. What an amazing day!

The PA crew is the best! Extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I was out of town and couldn’t make it back in time for Christmas with the road closures, Jordan put together a few awesome Spey setups that were the biggest hit on Christmas! Best shop in town!
