Budget Car Rental

Don’t rent here. I paid in full online and when I went to pick it up, I was told that the rental would cost $160 more than what I was told, even though it was a 3 days rental. Rent from Enterprise!! It is so much easier, service is much faster and reliable!!

I have rented 2 times in the month of June and have been extremely satisfied with my experience.The Manager at this location (sorry, I’ve forgotten your name) is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. She assigned a beautiful vehicle, when she learned I was renting for my daughter’s wedding. That was such a nice gesture.Both times, the vehicles were clean and ready to go.I highly recommend Budget, on Main Street, Hamilton, if you want great customer service and excellent vehicles.

Was shocked at how rude Nandy was. Absolutely terrible service.So rude and condescending.Did not explain terms well and constantly interrupted.

The lady over the phone was friendly. Upon entry to the store, the lady did not even greet us, she was very rude and combative over our reservation that we had requested the day before, and would not offer any kind of help or insite whatsoever.

I just wanted to leave this review and express how professional, friendly, and timely the service at Budget Car Rental is.Lady in the office is amazing!It is my great pleasure to recommend this business, and I look forward to using them in the future.

Excellent service very flexible with the time to return the car they gave me more time, always gave the c’est dear and cheaper than other companies,, very friendly and professional, I won’t rent from other companies, highly recommended

I've seen some of the negative reviews and am a little shocked because I had the opposite experience. I booked VERY last minute and got a way better price than the competition at Enterprise, where I usually go. Nandy R was at the counter and just lovely; although she was previously dealing with a disgruntled renter whose clothing and return rental car both reeked of smoke... funny how deep in denial some smoker's are about how self-evident their habit is. Everyone knows you can't smoke in rental car but this particular customer was being a real jerk and Nandy was handling it with pure 'grace under fire'. I would definitely recommend this location and will use it again myself!

Would give them less stars if I could.Stealing my money from me after not honouring our agreement from booking.They have taken more money off of my CC days after returning the vehicle.Dirty vehicles are sent out - see photos.Supervisor phoned to intimidate me (after filing a complaint with booking company for my refund) so I’d somehow accept the two hundred dollar price jump. Um, no.Poor customer service and Fraudulent behaviour are two reasons to stay away from this company.

While I respect the reps who were doing their job and following budget policy I do have to write a more negative review based on my experience, though I will admit my own fault in not reading into the requirements further.I feel like some of the requirements" for rental vehicles should not be in place especially since it's not required for other companies (who I had to go with after canceling my booking)I would strongly advise budget on evaluating specific requirements like additional drivers age requirements. If I can rent a car at 23 (21) I should be able to add an additional driver of the same age."
