The food is everything you want in a greasy spoon and the staff very friendly and quick. The decor was also just what i would expect. From this perspective 5/5, would eat here again.Unfortunately, Fox News blasting on the giant TV and patrons having a lively discussion about the programming made for a very unwelcoming environment. We likely won't be back as a result.

Delicious Shrimp with fries. People who works there are really nice. Not many people were there on a Friday dinner time. Fish was a bit small in the fish & chip dish. Overall was good.

Absolutely terrible. Place is FILTHY. Just overall unkempt throughout. Its quite dark inside. Smells dirty. Behind the counter is a stack of messy papers and junk wedged between coolers like why?! While waiting for my order I noted the garbage bin area was disgusting, needs a good wipe down and thorough CLEANING. Looks like they scrape plates into the garbage..and if they miss..oh well ..it runs down the front or on the floor. There were 2 tables with people at them. On a Sunday at 1pm. The pile of dishes strewn about the garbage area and left on tables was shocking. Its not like it was a breakfast rush and they couldnt keep up.The order; 1 banquetburger and 1 fries with gravy to go. $17.55!!!! Wow.The food. Yuck. There is no CHARBROIL at the valley charcoal let me tell you! It was a burger FRIED on a flat top grill. Terrible no name brand bun. ( not the big sesame bun from years gone by and shown in the pics) The fries...unremarkable.. they are fries..but the gravy...BLEH!!! It was very pale like chicken gravy & tasteless. What happened to beef gravy? Just SUCH a disappointment. I DEFINATELY wont be back.

Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, excellent open hours, decent cutlery, a side of fruit with each plate, clean tables, rye bread option, large teapot, large portions, crispy hash browns, perfectly poached eggs. Overall a big thumbs up! We'll be back soon.

All positive reviews must be long time friends.. I have not eaten here and would never... just starting working in dundas and was looking for a good place for breakfast or lunch. Honestly it smells amazing at times when I go by, however inside is not amazing at all. last nail was, only cash... I rarely carry cash, so I will not be eating here.

Danny is the cook. I had wonton soup. It was made fresh when i ordered it. I was surprised ! It was delicious. I have ordered a hamburger. It was quite large, and i could barely finish it. This is a CASH ONLY RESTAURANT. I understand from other people their breakfast is wonderful and a good price too. It is a licenced restaurant as well. Street parkingEnter at side of building. It's been openIn Dundas for years, the decor isn't updated but the staff is friendly and the food is great

Honestly pretty disgusting i don’t understand how anyone could even give this place 2 stars, food was okay, the coffee was horrible worse than airplane coffee. The coffee is so terrible in fact the owner drinks tim hortons. This place is more filthy than a motel 6. I bet if you took a wet wipe to the wall, it would come back black. And also this is the only breakfast place ive seen that asks for you to pay upfront. Whats up with that? Hadent been in 4 years and thought maybe they got better but nope. Dundas needs some good breakfast places this place is lower than 1 star. Would rather eat at a motel 6 buffet
