Posh Nail Lounge Calgary

Not impressed at all. Used to go here regularly for my nailsI wanted a nice birthday treat for myself but the service left me feeling off. The pedicure was rushed and lasted no more than 15 minutes. I've had a better experience in other places, I wouldn't be going back anytime soon

Went in with nothing on my nails. I wanted a new gel set, matte black almonds. The location was really nice and clean (hence 2 stars instead of 1), but I was very disappointed with the quality of my set. I felt like the technician was rushing and I was given cuticle oil and asked to rub it in myself, which has never been my experience elsewhere. My nails are bumpy and uneven. The website quotes $55 for a new gel set and I was charged $75 before taxes and tip. Will not be going back.Photos are a bit grown out as I got these done 10 days ago.UPDATE: I have now been responded to and told that the technician tells the price before they start? That's a straight up lie. I wasn't told the price until she was done and I was walking out. Everywhere else a new set includes polish. I didn't even ask for shellac. And I certainly wasn't told a price before she started. Taking my review down to 1 star for the terrible response and customer service.

Amazing service and did a fantastic job on my nails! I also got a really nice, simple pedicure. It wasn’t rushed and there was zero issues.

*final update*They were kind enough to get me in at noon to fix the nail. Offered to redo my nails thinner but I do not have time. Also consider it's paid roadside parking only. Picture shows new nail vs. the ones done Friday. Look at the shape and thickness in comparison.*update*2 days later, index nail has broken off. I was not and did not do anything that could've caused this. SighDecided to try out Posh today with my cousin. Many things lead up to this 1 star review. First, I asked my tech how much my fill would be with a simple white tip design. She looked at my nails and said it'll be $65. I said ok, what's the price without the design? She said design is an additional $15. Do a quick calculation, fill should be $50 (even though their website says $40 for a fill). I picked a single colour, she said my service today would be $60. I don't understand how they quote your nails. I booked my appointment thinking it was a competitive price at $40 for a fill. Left paying $70. No problem in charging for your service, make sure you update your price list to be consistent with what you're quoting clients when they arrive. Please update your online pricing so people don't come in confused and disappointed like us. They said $40 was a fill WITHOUT polish. How odd.Secondly, unfortunately they are not baby friendly. My cousin had her 4 month old with her, immediately her tech looked annoyed upon arrival. This was a mid week, noon time appointment. There was 1 other person in the salon so they were not busy and nobody came in after us. Did not offer her any drinks, even though the website said they offered complimentary coffee, water and tea. They made her and myself feel very unwelcomed.Lastly, they left my nail extremely thick and uneven on a few nails.Overall very disappointed and will not be back.

Their service is so quick. They finish the pedicure within 15 mins. My friend was same , too. It was so different and I didn’t like it. Manicure was same, too.I am adding more from Posh’s comment. I don’t remember how long I stay there the most of time, Posh tried to fix polish. I used gel for my nails. The colour was not good Posh need to remove my gel and need to start again. That was the main reason I need to stay there longer. Posh did not remove cuticle perfectly did not care about some basic things. For example, I went to other shop and get pedicure took 1 hour exactly about spa, clean and polish part is just 5 mins? That’s what I want. I gave the tip because I don’t want to hurt the service person’s feeling. If I give the tip, I can not complain?
