As an avid NPR supporter in the US, combined with living close to Canada most of my life, the CBC has been a big part of my daily life. From the CBC programs Shift, In Concert, A Propos (now C’est Formidable), Choral Concert, and many other great radio programs, I needed to see something CBC in Toronto. The building is great, with lounging areas with CBC news playing, and an interactive area in the lobby off Front St. There is no tour, nor a museum, per se. There was a small museum until recently. According to a helpful security guard, the items were relocated to Ottawa. There are exhibits in the lower level that present a bit of CBC’s history with artifacts visible, most of which are behind glass. It wasn’t exactly what I’d hoped to see, but was worth the trip. As a bonus, the Glenn Gould statue out front is a reminder of his talent and icon status in Canada and the classical world.

Great setup for watching the Olympics! There is one large viewing area. Then a smaller area to catch a different channel or web feed if you need too.

CBC has been sending harrassment emails to people I know that donated to a protest. They exposed their names and addresses. The way they reported on the convoy even was totally biased.CBC has no credibility. They are just a government mouth peice. They never questioned the government closing bank accounts, holding people indefinitely and using unprecedented emergency powers. If you work at this building it is not somthing to be proud of.

Ha! 69 percent government funded…love it!CBC tv viewing is at all time low and CBC….CBC should pivot and head over to Truth Social. Does CBC still have Friday afternoon staff drag queen party contests at their cubicle farm?!Hard working Canadian citizens tax dollars hard at work..They who control the frequency control the narrative.

Great iconic building! When you walk in you get a nostalgic feeling seeing props of the history of television and radio. Like a free museum:). Easily accessible from street level and from public transit. The food court closes at 5. Get there for great deals!!!!! $5 gets you loaded trays that shops are trying to unload rather than throw away!!!!!

What an iconic place. I was there for the Dragon's Den auditions. First I met with Elliot Gould to discuss my options...Then I got to stand like Jim Treliving in front of the marquee sign on stage. As to whether I presented a convincing pitch to the producer...let's just say I'm not holding my breath!

We went for CBC Kids Day. As expected, it was extremely busy with long lines for face painting and bouncy castles, meet and greets, etc. It's a great idea but be prepared to wait.

Love this place. Right now you can find this Lego model of the CBC on displace. Very cool!
