Riverside Towers Apartments

Great place to live. Staff are all great to deal with including rental agents, building manager and superintendent. Tenants are friendly. I feel safe and no issues with bugs. Cant beat the location. I'd feel comfortable renting at any Osgoode Property.

the place is INFESTED with cockroaches. we had to terminate the lease literally two days after moving in cause it was so bad. like this was our sink the second day we had the place. they were there the first day we moved in and email them and they still had us living with them. the manager of riverside towers was awful to work with and is full of bs. they’re not compliant AT ALL. they refused to let us rent another room while they were trying to treat the room and insisted on still living with the roaches. we even called before we moved and asked if everything was alright for us to move in and they said it was and when we got there the apartment was not ready at all. super dirty and nothing was done. the place is actually disgusting and inhibitable and the manager refuses to believe that. save yourself the trouble. the place is disgusting.

I’ve lived here since April and I’ve really enjoyed it so far. The location is so convenient as it’s close to everything and the view is beautiful. The building is quiet I don’t even hear my neighbours which is awesome as I work some night shifts and have to sleep during the day. The rental office is quick to respond to any emails about questions or concerns that you may have. I would definitely recommend renting here.

I loved living here. The maintenance guy was the absolute best! He was one of the most friendly guy I ever met. The office staff on the other hand could be rude and condescending. I got a noise violation once and I wasn't even loud. I think I was seriously in bed at 930 that night and woke up to it. Otherwise everyone in the building was quite nice as well.

Had to throw out most of my stuff when I moved out due to an ongoing cockroach problem at these buildings. They do spot treatments in apartments where they are seen, and in the surrounding apartments, but they will never spray the whole building due to the cost (which is what they need to do to solve the issue). It was so bad, I accidentally brought one to my new place when I moved out (saw it crawl out of a pile of laundry I was about to wash). In three years, they did 4 treatments, and I still saw roaches all over the building (especially the basement).Also FYI, they enter any tenants who write a positive review in a draw to get a month of rent free, so half these positive reviews are likely the result of that.

We moved into Riverside Towers mid July and so far we love living here! The managing team is very kind and accommodating and was able to help us out with any issues that came up. We're very glad we picked this location, the apartment's very nice and the view is amazing.

Unfortunately, the building has not added security to the sub-basement of the parking garage. There are no CCTV cameras inside that garage. Several vehicles were damaged and I didn't even make a claim with my insurance. The postal code and building has been deemed a high crime neighborhood and the building has been identified by my insurance that crime activity has been tagged to Kingsview. Adding an announcement update and posting it in the elevator isn't going to resolve the issue, action to implement cameras would be more impactful plus, having to miss work to attend court and lose pay for something that could have been prevented is a loss as well, including having paid for damages to my vehicle that could've been prevented.As a result, my insurance doubled in price due to the postal code/building targeted area and I have experienced a bed bug infestation. Management responded quickly but let's see if this challenge resolves quickly.

NEVER RENT FROM THEM!TL;DR:- bugs- terrible service- constant intrusions- way overpriced- nothing you ask for ever gets done- they lie all the time- nothing works and everything is falling apartI’ve rented from Osgoode twice in the last two years. The first time was bad but for some reason I came back and rented a second time in a different building. The two buildings I’ve been in have had bugs. The first one they NEVER dealt with, and asked us to bring LIVE BUGS into the office to prove we had bugs. The second one they dealt with about 4 months later.The service is terrible. They treat you like you are an annoyance and constantly lie to you. They will come into your apartment at LEAST once a week. With very little notice, sometimes not ever 24 hours. Don’t expect any service quickly, or at all. They still owe me money or the tax reduction in January that they have yet to implement, it is almost May. (Probably close to 150$) Any time I ask about it they blow me off or get angry with me.Almost everyone I talk to finds the same issues, and it was the same at the other building I rented in. The only redeeming qualities I can think or are location (which is definitely not worth it) and the super intendants who work like crazy and I’m sure are way understaffed and way underplayed.

I love living in this building, quite and neat place, never experienced cockroaches or bugs, all included, friendly and helpful management team.

Very loud construction on the roof. This space is expensive and not even livable.
