I am forever grateful for the care my infant son and I received from Dr. Macgregor and Julia. My son was born in the 80% for weight but by the time he reached 6 weeks old, he had dropped to the 40% and was miserable 24/7. Despite having visits with the health nurse and his paediatrician, he was still having issues with feeding (although that is all we did). We received wrap-around care from Dr. Macgregor and Julia, with a frenectomy, breastfeeding guidance and prescriptions to assist in milk production. It saved my family’s sanity and I’m happy to say my son is now thriving at 6 months old and at the 88% for weight ☺️.My only regret is not visiting them with my older daughter!

Willow is unbelievable. Dr MacGregor and Julia were so kind, gentle, patient, understanding, knowledgeable, compassionate (I could go on and on - basically every positive word you can think of, they were it!).I saw a couple of different people (including a breastfeeding physician) for breastfeeding issues with my first baby and they were such negative experiences - it felt like they didn't really listen or help and the advice they gave left me feeling totally overwhelmed and defeated.I am so glad I went straight to Willow with my second baby. The experience couldn't have been more different. They treated me and my baby with such kindness and compassion and the advice we received made everything about breastfeeding easier. Within hours of my appointment the breastfeeding experience had done a complete 180 for us. It was amazing.

I see Dr. Abrams at WFM and she is wonderful. Kind, compassionate, caring. Unlike other doctors I’ve seen in the past, she never dismisses my concerns. The clinic is also beautiful and welcoming, and I love the virtual scheduling tool and options for virtual appointments. Very convenient.

We were referred to willow medicine to address breastfeeding difficulties. It took a month to get an appointment but it was worth the wait as willow helped us enormously. Prior to seeing them, I was exclusively pumping and feeding my son expressed milk which was exhausting. I was nearly ready to give up. We saw Julia Mio LC and Dr. Adams. I was so impressed with the initial consultation. They spent an hour and a half with us. They were incredibly professional, compassionate and thorough. They had a holistic approach and genuinely wanted to help us. They provided us with information, resources and tools that allowed us to achieve exclusive breastfeeding which truly is amazing. I am forever grateful to Julia and Dr. Adams and can’t say enough wonderful things about willow.

I can't say enough great things about this clinic! My baby was struggling with weight gain and I really needed help to exclusively breastfeed. Both the LC and the MD were fantastic. My assessment was VERY thorough and they were eager to try more conservative treatments before looking at other options. My goals and hopes were respected, I was provided excellent service and follow up care. I truly can't express how grateful I am to the clinic. We're continuing breastfeeding because of their assistance.

I was seen at the breastfeeding clinic and had an amazing experience. It's probably the only reason I was able to successfully breastfeed (still going strong at 9 months and my son is thriving). My son was colicky, tongue tied, and struggled with weight gain. We had to overcome many issues and I had to work around the clock (for 2 months) on latching and pumping (until my supply had returned to normal). I don't believe the staff to be rude or condescending. They are compassionate, honest, and provide you with the necessary information if you want to be successful. The rest is up to you!

Dr. MacGregor and Julia at the infant nutrition clinic saved my breastfeeding journey and made it an enjoyable experience after hating a struggling for months with latch issues, tongue ties, and low milk supply. They are so attentive and supportive and helped me achieve my goals. I have nothing but praise - this clinic is an amazing resource for people struggling with breastfeeding and I am so glad to have discovered it. Thank you!!

I had an amazing experience at WFM. Both Julia and Dr. MacGregor were extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. All my problems with breastfeeding were solved after my visit to the clinic. My husband attended the appointments with me and he was involved and invited into our conversations, which was very helpful. My son also had a frenectomy performed by Dr. MacGregor for a tongue-tie and now feeds without any issues. Before the procedure, we were told exactly what to expect after the procedure and were put at ease with how thorough they both were. We were given clear and concise instructions on exercises to perform after the procedure to prevent any further issues. Scheduling follow-up appointments was easy with the online scheduling tool, and we had all our questions answered and addressed. I highly recommend anyone who is struggling with breastfeeding to visit Dr. MacGregor and Julia.

I was feeling so discouraged that I would never be able to get my daughter breastfeeding. I am so thankful that I found Dr. MacGregor and Julia. I have been breastfeeding exclusively for about 5 months now with no issues. Edmonton has one of the lowest breastfeeding rates in the country, and I believe that if we had more funding, awareness, and more clinics and consultants that make this kind of support accessible, so many more people would be successful in their breastfeeding journies. This work is so important. Thank you!

Dr. T. Spencer (and her locum) have consistently treated me with dignity, compassion and respect. For the first time in my life, I have a family doctor who takes the time to review my concerns before appointments, and listen to my needs/questions during. It means so much to have trust and faith in my medical practitioner. Highly recommend this clinic!
