Residence & Conference Centre - Sudbury North

Love the idea of staying on campus super cheap while everyone's back home and you stay behind for a month or so.Can still share a apartment" with someone and it's still cheaper than a hotel.It's quiet here and super chill. The staff is pretty nice and I feel safe here"

I am so glad I found the Residence and Conference Centre to stay at for two nights, as the location was very close to the wedding we were attending. There were 8 of us and my service dog, and the set up of the rooms was perfect for the privacy we wanted. There were a few minor issues at check in but the person who checked us in did his very best and was able to resolve the issues, even though it was his first day!

The room was just what we needed. A place to sleep for a great price. No fuss. I appreciated that there was a fridge and microwave for use and that bedding and towels were provided. I also appreciated the central location with easy access to the college festivities and shopping.

I stay in one of the student rooms. The facility is situated within the Cambrian college grounds. Accommodation has been great for me, as a student. I may not be able to rate the guest rooms as I haven't been in any nor have I received service as a 'guest'

A great place to stay for international students

I was very disappointed that there was no air conditioning and no fan available in our room as this was seemingly not yet functioning and/or under repair.The temperature in our room was 28.5C. Even after opening the windows and hall door in an attempt to allow some air circulation, the room temperature never dropped.As well as the too high temperature, the noise of the industrial operation next door made it impossible to sleep.Although the personnel and staff were sympathetic, I felt that they lacked the experience to perhaps better accommodate us by switching rooms.

We had booked a room in order to move our daughter out of residence the next day. Booking was easy, the beds were comfortable, and the front desk service was excellent.

Location would be easier to find if a direct driveway from the main street would be available. Receptionist had a hard time giving directions to get to the rooms on the third floor and how to get to the campus. Rooms are roomy but not clean, daily cleaning was not provided & needed to go at reception for fresh towels. Will not book again.

It’s a terrible place and terrible service.The college is good, but the service of the residence is worse. If you see any mice, they only give you the useless poison traps. The mice won’t be dead after they eat. And the residence never call the licensed pest control company to come to help you. Secondly, the residence fee is including the AC. If the AC has any problem, they won’t come to fix it, only if you request to get the refund due unfair. Thirdly, the internet is super weak. They won’t fix the problem after you complain. Finally, they overcharged me one month. I had moved out for half years, but they haven’t refunded me for the overcharged. I have sent a lot of email to them, but they are avoiding me.Living off campus is cheaper and letting you have a good service .

Loved the size of the rooms, beds and that there was a kitchenette with a large fridge and microwave. I would have given it five stars if the kitchenette had had some dishes and cutlery and if the full kitchen on the first floor had dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.
