J & R Firewood

When we called the phone was picked up quickly and the gentleman seemed really nice. He even texted the location to us without asking. Got there and was greeted in a quick and friendly manner and was able to pull our vehicle up and take as much or as little as we wanted. Their dogs are so friendly and amazing! Price was fair for the amount of wood we purchased. Will be my only place to get firewood going forward! Thank you and look forward to seeing you soon!

Other companies would not even return our calls. Our order was delivered on time, and placed right where we wanted it. We’re happy with the quality of wood delivered and will certainly order from them again.

I ordered 2 bush cords of firewood from Rolf at J & R Firewood. I haven't seen firewood this clean and dry since moving to the area. I've used two other suppliers over the last three years and the wood has either been damp or moldy, or both. I called Rolf and told him about what I was getting and asked him what his wood was like. He said, You'll love our wood. It's seasoned properly and stored in-doors." And Rolf was absolutely honest about his firewood. It's amazing. It's dry and there was no mold.Not only that but it's comparable in price to the other suppliers I've used. Other companies partition their dump trucks at 128 cubic feet . . . that's 1 bush cord for each partition. But because they dump the firewood into the partitions (lots of gaps and air) I was only getting probably 80 or 90 cubic feet for each partition from those other suppliers. Rolf

Rolf runs a tight ship at J&R, I was able to hand pick certain hardwoods for smoking meats and he was incredibly helpful. I’ll be back for sure!
