I am giving this review 1 star only because they were always polite on the phone but I have to admit that I will not be recommending this company to anyone local.We called them back in June to get our older model washing machine fixed. Tech came within a week and assessed it to be the motor. A few weeks went by to wait for said new motor (which I had to call a few times each week to get a date estimate on when it may arrive) when the tech was finally booked to come and replace the motor, he discovered it was not the motor at all. He was to put in a request for the actual part that was broken (yet left the new motor in - as if we were going to use it AND pay for it!) A few more weeks went by... several attempts to reach the office to get an idea of a timeframe. Though always polite on the phone, there was always confusion with our ticket. Either the part wasn't ordered, or the tech was on holiday and not reachable for the front office to understand what was the exact part etc... it went on and on.Finally after 7 weeks of NO WASHING MACHINE I called in to cancel our whole order and I went to another business to buy a new one.The kicker of this whole scenario... they had stated that they would have a tech come and collect the new motor in our broken washer. It sat in our driveway for 4 weeks. Each week when I called they stated oh yes we will send a tech on X day..." no show

We are forced to use this company because they fulfill our Whirlpool warranty. We have been fighting since April to get our refrigerator repaired. They have scheduled a technician to come to our house five times (each time I had to take a day off work because they do not give you an exact time for the appointment) the technician only came two out of the five times. No show!! no call!! Have we called the office staff repeatedly to find out what's going on and the ladies at reception say I'm not sure why the technician didn't come I will find out from him and get back to you". They have never once gotten back to us. Three times in a row they promised to call us the next day with answers and they NEVER called us! Three missed appointments and three failed promises to follow up. This is an absolute joke of a company. They do not care one bit because their customers are FORCED to use them. If I had a choice

I have always used Young's Appliances when requiring service at our cottage in Norway Bay. Paula, in the office, is super easy to deal with (mainly by email). This year I plugged in a fridge in our cabin to find it not working. But when the service technician arrived and plugged it in - it worked! Ugh - I was sure that I'd pay for that service call and was feeling rather dumb....So I really appreciated that there was no charge to look at my fridge! I will reach out again whenever I need some help. :-)

The worst customer service ever. do not use this company they are rude to your face... not good when you can get better service from Capital Appliance, and they are faster to come to your home, cheaper and kind!

Don't recommend.I'll start by saying the techs were great.Unprofessional, rude customer service from the secretary and manager. Waited 5 months for a part, finally got it installed and then was never provided with an invoice or payment terms, yet threatened with collections less than a week later. They hung up on my face with a smug attitude and a continued threat to send to collections when I confronted them about the threat without ever sharing an invoice. Manager saw no issue with the way the situation was handled.

January 2023 The worst customer service I have ever had. E-mails not responded to & phone calls not returned. Service call was made & technician came & discover that the timer on the dryer had quit (laundry unit 2 years old). He said he would have the parts ordered & come back. Young`s told me that the parts were no longer available & could not help me, so I phoned the manufacturers myself to find out that the parts were indeed available. Recontacted Young`s with the parts numbers & the phone number of the parts dept. Nothing was done & they said they were unavailable & could not help me. So I phoned the manufacturer and orders the parts myself and my son-in-law changed them & dryer now works. This company came highly recommended to me but as lack of customer service I wouldnever recommend this company to anyone. $150.00 spent for nothing.Barbara

Great service from the technician who came to fix my washer (unfortunately I didn't get his name). Very professional, friendly, knowledgeable. Had my washer apart and back together very quickly, and had a few ideas for me to prevent the issue again. Problem fixed within 24 hours of putting in the request via Whirlpool. Thank You.
