Miquelon Lake Provincial Park Campground
Fantastic campground with tons of campsites. Price is really reasonable and not too far from Edmonton! The washrooms were also nice with running water and showers!

Great spot the lake isn't really fit for swimming. But lots of trails and nature to be seen . Good rv dump with flush hoses. It's a big spot

Clean, comfortable with great staff and matured treed sites. They’re a bit close together since the foliage between the sites are thin, so you can sometimes hear conversations from neighbours. Lots of paths and activities for kids to do. I would recommend bringing bikes if you can as there are long trails to follow. The buildings are in great condition and the showers and bathrooms are clean. They have a fun little outdoor theatre for the kids to be creative and put on a play for the whole family. The only disappointment is that the lake is not swim-able and the beach front is a bit neglected however we would go back regardless.

Campsites are a good size and fairly private. Nice trails for biking and walking. The only down fall is you can't go in the lake.

We had a great time here. Lots of families around and it was very quiet here, especially at night. There were a lot of trees around our site so it felt more private. Bathrooms were clean and not too far from our site. A little too much gravel on our site, it was hard to tie down the ropes with the metal pins. Price is a little expensive.

Miquelon is an awesome campground! We were in loop A and felt close to everything. The kids loved all the playgrounds around and we enjoy all the trails we can walk or bike on. We especially enjoy all the programming they offer. This weekend we did Art in the park"

So worth it. It was amazing. Even though we could not go in the water the Park was beautiful. Just show up with your clothes and food and they take care of the rest.

The camping area is not bad. Not the greatest if you are tenting as there are many rocks. Beautiful long trails to walk. Would be 4 or even 5 stars if it wasn't for the beach. This lake is a SALINE lake. In other words it's a dead lake. This is naturally occurring but still,.. pretty disappointing and sad to see. You can view the beach in my pictures attached to this review. Not a safe place for dogs, would not recommend it as a hang out spot in any way shape or form. As long as you stay away from the beach, the camping area is pretty nice.I have been told on very hot days the stench" from the lake can be smelled from all camping areas. I went in late August and during the fires burning in B.C. so all I could smell was smoke in the air."

Overall a nice, near-to-the-city vacation for a couple days. 'Multiple stall' bathrooms (ie.the nice indoor ones) and showers were closed for COVID, and some edges of campsites were starting to flood (at the time of our visit as it had rained frequently the week before). Bugs were not bad yet! Sites are mixed for privacy; 'A' lot spaces were alright. We could see neighbours on 3 sides, they were polite and quiet so no problems for us. We've stayed in other areas and they've been more hedged in and spaced out. Water was high and greenery was lush! Not the most amazing camping but good for the location.

Hello - I really like what the park has offered the past 5 years - I think Brian has made a great improvement to the part !I also think there should be a charging station put at the park so anyone with an electric power car could park and charge while they are there for the day or farmers markets and not worry !Allan
