Great views of the bay! A nice small exercise room. A lovely restaurant on the main floor. Amble parking, and not far from the ferry terminal. Easy to check in, and an elevator for the higher floors. They also have some banquet rooms that would be nice for any event!

Staff working here are great, very caring people. The hotel itself is a bit old but our room was clean. The location is great. You’ve got a great view of the town, and plenty of parking. The reason for the 4 stars and not a 5 is because I think the rate is a bit too high (for the pet friendly rooms). However, if needed I’d stay here again.

My only complaint would b ...rooms close to the elevator for disabled folks. It was hard to have to walk down the long hall.

Beautiful spot in Port aux basques, we didn't sleep on the boat so we booked in.The clerk had no information about the laundry and I had to figured it out myself bur that wasn't hard.Food smelled great coming from the kitchen and I did have a drink in the bar and put a 20 in the vltsRoom was clean and comfy and the view was 5 stars

Great rooms, had to get a suit to have accessible bathroom and space to get around, older building but they adapted were they can. Hubby called and asked for an accessible room and the woman suggested a room upstairs but when we got there the guy said there's a huge ramp going to the room which may not work ... and he was right. We were going to only stay one night but stayed two!The restaurant was great too! Good food, good staff and clean environment!

Water pressure sucks and the rooms are not that clean (found someone's hair on pillow). Other than that hotel was easy to find and the price is reasonable. Staff are friendly and polite.

My review is for the restaurant and not the hotel. Arrived the dining room at 7 and ordered a glass of wine. After asking twice more and over 20 minutes later I finally got it. It was not worth waiting for anyway. Ordered our meals (hot hamburger and hot turkey)and over an hour later got them. Others who had arrived after us had eaten and left before we were served.

To start I would like to say that people of Newfoundland are probably the nicest and most accommodating people in Canada. The landscape of the Province is absolutely beautiful. I had never been to Newfoundland and was blown away by the people and scenery. That being said, I travelled to Port aux Basques for work. I booked the St. Christopher's Hotel for August 2, 2022, trough the online booking system. After providing the information and pressing submit, the online system went to a page indicating that the request had been sent to the property.I waited approximately 7 days without getting any confirmation regarding the booking. I looked in my email inboxes including junk and spam, so I telephoned the hotel however did not get any response.I tried to book for the same date however it said that there was no availability.I booked a room at the nearby Hotel Port Aux Basques via the online booking system (which is identical to the online booking system used by St. Christopher's) and I immediately received a booking confirmation page and an email. After returning from my trip, I noticed a pending charge from St. Christopher's Hotel. I called the hotel to inquire about the charge and was told that I had not shown up for my reservation. I told the women that I hadn't received any confirmation of the reservation. She claimed it would have been emailed. I checked again and there is still nothing in my email inbox. I was told that it was my fault that the hotel didn't send a confirmation and there was nothing she could do.I believe the booking system at St. Christopher's Hotel is either does not work properly or staff at the hotel did not bother to contact me the confirmation. The response from the women at the hotel was indifferent and blamed it on myself for the hotel not sending a confirmation to my reservation request.I can understand if the online booking system doesn't work since it appears to be very outdated, but the response from the staff when I inquired about the issue was very poor.
