Kind, patient and knowledgeable- Nechama was a pleasure to work with for both speech and language therapy. She took the time to get to know the kids as well as gain a deep understanding of how their speech issues were affecting their daily life, and with that information the therapy she provided was very targeted, tailored and successful!

Excellent service! My 9 year old was having trouble with the R" sound

As a business professional, I often feel anxious before major presentations. However, it's an essential skill to gain stakeholder buy-in for my initiatives. Nechama and I worked together to dig deep into the causes of my anxiousness - my voice was just the carrier of it. Together, we developed an action plan to minimize and address my anxiousness. It's been extremely beneficial in my professional life and I'm forever grateful.

My daughter was not speaking at all at three years of age. Ms Dworkind’s thorough assessment targeted all the right issues at the appropriate developmental stages. My daughter loved going to see her, and was able to acquire all the sounds, even L and R, and we will always be grateful for her dedication and constant encouragement.

Busy, but super-super nice! (Two Part Review)Initial Review:Two weeks ago I was referred by a reputable doctor in Montreal to make an appointment with The Voice Box.Great... I thought. Once I got home I called The Voice Box and received their Voice Box (voicemail). No Problem... I thought. Just leave a message and they will get back to me.I left a message and waited... and waited... and waited... For two weeks I waited. I followed up by calling the Voice Box again only to received their Voice Box... again.Either they are ignoring the voicemail completely or they have listened to it and decided for one reason or another to not follow up.Now I'm left with 1 option and that is to go to Cote Des Neiges directly to try and speak with someone who will book the appointment.It's a frustrating first step to a required service.**EDITED: Received a call from the owner. While she is extremely busy it's important to note that she is extremely kind. We were able to find a date and time to book an appointment and based off the call I am looking forward to beginning the services offered by The Voice Box. The Rating is being moved to 4 stars. Nechama is amazing and approachable. My son is 8 years old now and she’s been helping him since he was almost 3. We’re so lucky to have Nechama as my son’s Speech Pathologist. I highly recommend The Voice Box Clinic.

Over several years I had found that my voice was getting more hoarse and weaker. I contacted Nechama Dworkind at The Voice Box who did a thorough assessment of my situation and scheduled me for several sessions of therapy with her. Working on-line, with many very clear explanations and illustrations, she led me through a series of exercises adapted to my specific situation and linked me to several apps to guide my efforts. Within approximately a week of daily exercises I noticed an improvement. Within two weeks, my family and friends remarked on a noticeable improvement in my voice, which has continued. Nechama also referred me to a laryngologist who was helpful in providing treatment complementary to the plan established with her. Nechama’s treatments and valuable guidance quickly changed some important aspects of my life. Until I rediscovered  my voice I had not realized how isolated I had become, and how I had gradually withdrawn from conversations and social life. I am grateful to her and highly recommend her support.

really worth every penny. nechama has the best and most effective techniques, and she's very devoted to her clients. As a Cantor in training I developed a vocal polyp, I decided to try therapy with the voice box before going in to surgery, and thank God with in just 4 weeks the polyp totally disappeared
