I had the worst experience ever dealing with the dispatcher last night. Very rude and unprofessional. I recommend using any other company or services

Absolute crooked company that charges almost double after midnight for no reason. I waited an hour at the airport for a ride only to find that they're gonna charge me double. Costed 55 bucks for a ride home last night. I don't know what it is with this city and their taxis I've never seen anything more awful in my life. Avoid cabs in tbay try an Uber or anything else, these companies should be completely ashamed of themselves. Them and roaches are a complete disgrace.Ps- what kind of logic is that? Charging nearly double after midnight.... what a sick joke, and I didn't feel like waiting another hour for a different ride, just makes me sick to my stomach thinking about these advantage taking losers. Welcome to tbay I guess.....

The drivers at diamond are generally kind and have always proved trustworthy and professional. The dispatchers, on the other hand, are not always friendly. I've never been demanding, unkind or anything other than patient and understanding but, haven't always been met with the same attitude. It oftentimes feels like I'm an inconvenience to the dispatcher when I call.

Yikes. Asked the dispatcher if they could reserve a pickup at 3:30pm for a cab to the airport, and instead of giving me an answer, she asked me what time my flight was, which is really none of her business. I told her and she very condescendingly told me that I need to show up TWO HOURS before my flight (this is patently false, I am a pilot at the Thunder Bay airport and every airline website tells you to get to the airport an hour ahead). I gave her a well reasoned explanation why she was incorrect and she rudely told me that I was wrong. So I tried to bring it back to the cab issue… which is her job… and she said “well you can request the cab but it’ll probably be 20-30 mins late.” So right from the beginning she could have just said that they don’t do cab reservations instead of wasting my time. Book with Roach’s instead, they’re way friendlier and quite prompt. Will never call Diamond again.

Wow! Took this taxi when I got in town, the dispatcher was really inpatient with me and made me feel uncomfortable. I got to my room and called to book a taxi for the morning to the airport. Again rudely told to call after 11pm hung up on me. Then I called at 11:30 and it was just like there was no time for me the client. Manage to book for 8am taxi got to me at 8:30. At this point I don’t care, I’m saying it.. when our country was managed by Canadians we were treated with respect! I’ll walk before I call Diamond Taxi.

As soon as the taxi van arrived, my friend and I immediately got into it.We noticed that the taxi driver was taking a really long route, and my friend pointed that out to the driver. He continued to take a long route and did a lot of detours before we got to our destination.When we arrived to our destination, the taxi driver charged us with a $5 waiting fee, even though we didn’t make the driver wait at all.Overall, we were charged $40 for what was supposed to be a 5km ride.We took Roaches Taxi back to our original destination, and our driver took the shortest route and we were only charged $30.I highly do not recommend Diamond Taxi. Even their dispatcher was not polite when we were voicing our concerns.

Called so I could get my 15 yr old son to go meet his uncle at shopping at Dawson rd Walmart and he was going to pay for my sons ride and they said they couldn't do it. Umm ya not impressed won't use them again.Get someone with more experience to answer the calls!

Very poor service the taxi is dirty the operator is not telling the truth he’s saying 30 minutes waiting we end up one hour and half then I decided to cancel and call the roach instead,sorry diamond taxi you lost one customer and I plan to use a lot of taxi rides because of medical..

I called a cab from the airport in a blizzard. The dispatcher was pleasant and the driver came within five minutes. He was excellent navigating the treacherous roads. I felt safe.
