Wow !What a wonderful sushi spot in Pemberton. Stopped here before closing for dinner & was totally blown away by the quality. Had niagiri sushi & the dynamite roll with a spicy salmon. All of it was amazing. I will definitely be back on my next visit to be BC.Thank You !

This place surprised us in the best possible way! Absolutely delicious food and the fish selection, the quality and freshness in the sashimi platter was amazing!! We ended up ordering it twice. This place is as good or better as any other great sushi places we have tried in Vancouver. Our server was amazing as well. Should have gotten her name. :) This place gives us a cool reason to just take a long drive this side :)

Drove by during our Whistler and so glad we decided to give this little place a try! Some of the most amazing sushi we have had- and we are Asians so that says a lot lol What a gem! Love it, will definitely return

Really, really good food. The omakase sushi is highly recommended; I was amazed at the quality of the fish, the selection, and the really reasonable prices for what you get. It's authentic and the presentation, too, is fantastic. Kind service despite it being crowded also. Would recommend a reservation in the evenings as it gets packed pretty quickly.Edit: came back 4/5/23 -- it's still just as delicious! Wonderful omakase.

Owned and run by Japanese people. Agedashi Tofu was excellent, veggie gyoza were delicious, Tuna Tataki Roll was superb, the Unagi Nigiri ri was especially amazing, even the miso soup was great. Unfortunately, during our experience, they were sold out of Gomae, and the Red Tuna Nigiri had a sort of soap taste to it (which was taken off our bill).Overall, although they dropped the ball with the Red Tuna, everything I tried was wonderful and was better than most places in Vancouver (I've been to Japan, and I eat a lot of sushi in Vancouver). If I'm back in the area, I will definitely go here again!

Excellence, hard to find and hard for many restaurants to achieve but this restaurant did it with ease.After a long day of travel I decided to treat myself to a casual meal and I can’t believe that I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant nestled in Pemberton. I’m so tired of the generic Korean and Chinese owned sushi houses in Vancouver that when I discovered this Japanese owned and operated restaurant I was blown away by their attention to subtle details and flavours, the nuances only true Japanese restaurants can achieve, it was wonderfully refreshing, propelling me back to experiences in Yokohama, Tokyo, Asaksa and Naha. Wow! A truly authentic Japanese dining experience in Pemberton!It’s a delight to be able to order your food and have edifying conversations with your hosts in Japanese while observing the highly trained chefs preparing your food, skilled and knowledgeable the result is incredibly palatable and the flavour that only a skilled itamae san (板前さん) can achieve!All of the food that I tasted was excellent and of the highest quality combined with excellent service from a friendly and enthusiastic staff.The price was fair considering the high quality of what you receive and the extreme dedication to flavour and quality that you receive here, anyone complaining about the prices here doesn’t understand anything about Japanese food and should go back to the generic restaurants or 7-11 to get the sushi that they are used to.素晴らしい食事をありがとう!

I think they made that wasabi in-house. The sushi here were better than most of the similarly starred sushi restaurants in Boston/NY. If this sushi place existed in Boston/NY, this place would have had 3/4 dollars signs on google review. They were Fresh and the chef knows how to assemble a satisfying dish together. I highly recommend this place. I also recommend making a reservation beforehand. It seems this place is in high demand when I visited! It seems they are commited and serious about their food.

That was my first meal after hiking Garibaldi lake, Panorama ridge, Black Tusk, and Taylor Meadows so I am gonna say this was the best meal you could ask for. Food was delicious and restaurant was busy.
