Hugo's Shoes Repair

1 star terrible customer service. Hugo is just rude. He was happy to take my money. When I went to pick up my shoes his attitude was take your shoes and get out of my store. I already knew I was getting ripped off for my shoe repair. A simple thank you would have sufficed. Update: The repair lasted only a few weeks. A $3usd shoe repair in Tijuana, Mx was better then Hugo’s and he charged me $25Cad!!!

I went to Hugo's to try to widen some roller skates that were much too narrow and hurt my feet. I was a little worried as he didn't do much in the way of diagnosis - he just took them and said I help with this problem all the time!" But I had nothing to lose because these skates were either going to be fixed or going to be trash - I couldn't keep wearing them with the pain they caused my slightly wide feet.He told me it would take about ten days and sure enough

There were a few poor reviews for this store amidst the good reviews, so I was a bit hesitant when bringing my 2 pairs of Birkenstock sandals to Hugo to resole. However, I’m happy to report that Hugo did a fantastic job, was very nice to deal with, and completed the work in only a few days. He went above and beyond what he charged me for too: he resoles my sandals, but he also polished the leather, resealed the cork, glued the leather back down to the cork, and reshaped the heels. All at a fair price. Will be bringing all my shoe repair needs his way from now on.

I've gotten a couple of my favorite pairs of footwear done here - and they did great! Location great, pricing fair, the CS needs some work, yes, but I've seen ruder service ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Great shoe repair shop if you live in the area. I got a pair of shoes glued at the sole, and he was very accommodating with my time crunch, cutting down the estimated time by more than a week. Will go again if I ever need anything else done and would recommend.

Went here to get my fly knit shoes repaired that were barely worn as it had a little tear on the toe. With careful stitching, and heart in craftwork, I’m sure it could have been done seamlessly. Instead this guy decides to put glue all over my shoes, and sews it together as if he couldn’t see what he was doing. The stitching job is all over the place. He ran it back and forth with no care.I went to go talk to him about it, and he said that I approved this job. You have to be kidding me!Do not take your shoes here. If you don’t really care about your shoes, go here, but if you spend money on getting it repaired, best that you don’t come here.A piece of advice….go somewhere where they repair luxury brand shoes. These businesses care. Hugo’s does not have any luxury brand repairs.

First time going to Hugo’s Shoe Repair and he did an amazing repair on my booties’ heels. He provides great value for your money. I would return again!

I walked into Hugo's shoe repair shop with an idea to turn a pair of shoes that are too small for me into a pair of sandals. I wasn't sure if that was possible, as it required cutting half of the shoe fabric. Hugo was on board with the idea, explained me how he was going to do it, and did an amazing job! He turned the shoes I was ready to give away into a unique pair of sandals. Definitely recommend!

Hugo does it all. Super friendly and does top notch work. You can tell he has many many years of experience. He always goes extra mile to make the shoes look great
