Nice guys but too much talking with friends and other customers during inspections

I have used this shop for years, and have been grateful for timely, honest service. Under new ownership with the same trustworthy mechanics. Just brought my car in for an oil change, and upon pick-up was charged $20 more than the last time. If they are gouging on oil changes, what else are they gouging on? I smell greed. I'll only be going back if I have no other option.

Honestly, Good luck finding a better mechanic who is honest with fair prices. Who will tell you as it is and have great customer service. There's a reason it's busy. It's Hard to find Great/Honest mechanics in Hamilton like Zagros. Me and my Wife with always be coming back here with our cars. Also I've sent many friends there who have all been very satisfied with the work and the money they have saved. Thanks.

I have been using this garage from last few months. I got a bearing of the front wheel and a front water spray nozzle replaced from these guys. I was being told to come and get it replaced without any extra labour charges as these parts are useless after installation. I had Covid and couldn’t come back for few weeks. I drove my car inn today and Joe told me their owner is changed and now he doesn’t know me and he has to pay more for than before and he could not do anything about it. Upon asking to take a look, he said sorry but I don’t have people do to it. So disappointed and really felt cheated. You guys don’t deserve business.

I live in Toronto and work in Hamilton, so I drive every day. Today was a bit different. I almost got to work when suddenly some noise started to be heard at the rear of my car. This was at about 5pm. Worried that something bad happened and I wouldn't be able to drive back to Toronto, I called Zagros to see if they can look at my car tonight. The gentleman over the phone told me that they are about to close and that I can leave my car overnight, so they take a look at it tomorrow, but when he found out that I needed to go back to Toronto, offered to bring the car and look at it right away. After taking my car for a quick test drive, the problem was diagnosed here and then - broken shock and shock mount. The mechanic assured me not to worry and that I will be on the road in no time. He ordered the part, which arrived very quickly, and did the repair despite staying later than he was supposed to, because the shop closes at 6pm. I cannot be more thankful, my car is fixed and I got back to Toronto safely! Recommend this place for anyone who wants honest, quick, efficient and above-and-beyond customer service! Thank you!

Got our car towed here from CAA due to a broken spring, they were quick and courteous, I asked to replace both struts. They only replaced the one side (the drivers side) and the price was decent, fixed the issue however I would have liked to have both done.Overall, still satisfied but not entirely what I wanted at the end of the day.I'd go to them again, miscommunications happen but the service was still good.

This auto shop is simply the best! I recently had them install front struts and a lower control arm on my vehicle. Beforehand, they performed a thorough inspection of my suspension, for which they charged a small fee. They then advised me on the necessary parts needed, and allowed me to purchase them on my own, which saved me money. They took my car in the morning and had it fixed the same day. Additionally, they performed a complimentary brake check and tire pressure check.I've used this shop for all of my vehicle maintenance and repair needs, including oil changes (where they allow me to bring my own oil and filter), major work such as a timing belt and water pump replacement, brake jobs, and other suspension repairs. I've never been happier with an auto shop - these guys are honest and reliable. I highly recommend them!
