Discovered this place this year purely by chance and it is now on our fave list! Foothills creamery ice cream, generous servings & nice lady runs it. A must on this stretch of hwy!

Very friendly service!Taco in a Bag was fun and filling! Doritos in a bag with ground beef, cheese, and lettuce with sour cream and salsa on the side.Ice cream portions were big and tasty.

Roadtrip. Great location and big selection of icy stuff. It was unearthly to eat ice cream in +34 C:) They also have a washroom behind the shack.

I just stopped here. I'm a truck driver and I like eating homemade food when I can. One of the most delicious burgers I've had. Garlic aiolie mayo in the burger and a blue raspberry milkshake. Highly recommend stopping here.

We saw the advertisement along the highway on our way from Swift Current to Medicine Hat. Service was very good. I tried the saskatoon pie ice cream which was great especially since I don't usually see that flavour in Quebec. The seating area was nice. They accept credit card payment too.

I never thought I would have any reason to remember the name Tompkins, but now every time we go between Swifty and Medicine Hat, we stop here for lunch. Lovely service - one lady runs the whole place.
