Great place to learn French! The teachers are very knowledgeable professional and patient, the admin staff are friendly and accommodating, the classrooms are small but light and with all the basics, and my peers are fantastic learning partners. People don't believe me when I say I look forward to my 3 hour Saturday class but I do! I have now convinced my teenage daughter -who was very reluctant to study French -to join and she loves it too. Merci Aliance Francaise!

I have been taking 1:1 lessons for the last three years. The teacher is very knowledgable and professional. Mary Hanna has been the administrator at the school since I started and has always been professional and easy to deal with. Alliance Francaise is one of the better options if you want an indepth knowledge of the language and French culture.

I enrolled my 6 y.o. to get her familiar with French before she starts the French immersion program. The group classes took place in really small room with no windows, the teacher was speaking 100% French (nothing was translated).The activities included writing and drawing (very dry and not interactive way to learn a language). We decided to switch to one on one classes, as my child was bored and didn't want to come to the class, but the new teacher was even less competent, the program was non existing and she wasn't able to build a productive and fun environment for learning for my child. Then, the secretary called to tell me that that teacher is no longer available and replaced her with some new teacher. Same day we were about to meet this third teacher, she called to cancel, due to the teacher illness. I said we are canceling the classes. We paid over 400 dollars for nothing and worst of all, my child now doesn't like French language. It's a shame.

My son has been learning French at Allicance Francaise Oakville Campus for over 3 years. The programs here are well organized and all the staff are very nice. Mary Hanna who is the principal of the Oakville Campus, has left us a great impression for her patient, caring and kind personality. My son's rep basketball games occasionally fall on the same schedule as his French class. In this case Mary Hanna can always arrange a make-up lesson to him, for which I feel deeply grateful. I definately recommend this school to anyone looking for a good French school.

Very accommodating and excellent support from the Staff and the Principal. I have had a good experience with The best teacher Esra , she is very helpful،nice and humble person. Also the Manager Marry is very organized about the schedule and provides quick answers , she's an excellent , amazing and professional person. Keep it up the good work !

Very friendly and welcoming Staff, starting from front desk to teachers.I had great experience putting my kids learning French there. It encourages me to start learning French as well with them. Big thank to Rihab, Jérôme, Henryka, George, Mary Hanna and many others…very professional in teaching onsite in-person or online !

The management at this campus does their best to accommodate your needs. You can easily speak to Mary Hanna who will work with you to meet them. French instruction is exceptional since the teachers all have several years of experience. There is a strong focus on building up grammar as well as speaking French. The school moved, last year, to the third floor where rooms are big and bright; however, the class sizes are not too big which allows for individual attention. I like this!

I am currently a student at Alliance Française Oakville. This is my fifth year attending this school. I attend classes here once a week, and I would say that they are definitely the highlight of my week! I have learned so much by going here and I have fun while doing it! My skills in reading, writing, and speaking in French have exponentially improved since I joined Alliance Française, and they continue to improve every week. Through taking classes here, my marks in French at school have also greatly improved. At Alliance Française Oakville, a welcoming and inclusive environment is created and the staff and teachers truly desire the success of their students. A friendly atmosphere is present here everyday and, since I have had the same teacher and mostly the same people in my class since the beginning, everyone feels like family to me. Not only have I improved my skills in French, but I have also gained a deeper understanding of a wide range of topics. The teachers always make sure that our discussions in class are informative and relevant. For example, we have discussions about current events, climate change, politics, history, geography, etc. In addition, Alliance Française Oakville is in a great location, since it located near North Service Rd. and Dorval Dr. It is situated on the third floor of a building and it has been recently renovated, so everything is state-of-the-art. There are several classrooms, which are quite large, each with large windows. The building is quite nice, and I enjoy spending two hours there every week. Overall, my experience at Alliance Française Oakville has been very positive and enjoyable, and I would highly recommend attending this school.

I am so glad I discoverd this place! I came here in april as an absolute beginner and eight months later I have a confidence in speaking french - I can introduce myself, speak about my family and my activities, ask for and give directions about some place and much more. My professor is very kind and knowledgeable and works with us in very relaxed atmosphere. She encourages us to express ourselves with confidence. There is a lot of conversation on the classes. I also met some nice people here and I am looking forward to see them on my next class!The classrooms are clean and bright and the staff are frendly and easy to cooperate with. I recommend this school to everyone who would like to learn french because they have very proffesional yet very warm approach to every student. They really want you to succeed!
