Ottawa Swing Dance Society
These socials have a wonderful, supportive atmosphere, good music and an enthusiastic community. With live music once a month and a dirt cheap entrance fee it is the place to dance in Ottawa.The introductory classes can be hard to follow, especially for beginners, but don't let that discourage you, as the other dancers are always happy to lend a hand.

Great volunteer society running drop-in lessons and social dancing on Friday nights! $8 admission per person. Be mindful though that it's warm in the church basement in summer

The absolute most exciting and accepting place out here in Ottawa. Everyone is welcome- new and experienced dancers, it doesn't matter. Everyone is there to have fun and dance! Every Friday! 7:30 is specialty moves, 8:30 is intro to basic swing and 9:30-12:30 is an open floor! $8 cover unless there is a live band ($12).

Tons of fun for an unbeatable price. For a mere $8 ($12 on live band night) you get an hour-long specialty lesson at 7:30 pm, an hour-long beginner lesson at 8:30 pm and three more hours of social dancing.
