BOUTIQUE ISLAMIQUE TAKWA - Hijab - Abaya

Last time I went there, it was just me and my mom and this woman that works in the boutique. She was leading us towards the basement to check out more of the dresses when out of nowhere the owner came by and started getting mad at her (speaking to her in French, he assumed that we didn’t understand French). He got mad at her because there was a dress on the corner of the floor. He was being disrespectful towards her, I could see how hurt she was feeling. Later on, when I went to pay for my items, I purposely said « thank you very much and have a good day » in French. She looks at me surprised because I heard everything that happened in the store. Then I left feeling deeply hurt and disgusted. This is not the first time something like this has happened. Hope you change ur manner and treat people with respect no matter who they are. May Allah swt guide u to the right path.

This place is a gem! I have never left a review online before, but I had to take the time to congratulate them. The young woman at the front is so friendly and helpful, the clothing is beautiful and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. They have an impressive selection of books and toys (even candy!). I appreciated the variety of menswear that they have, which I have not seen in similar stores that I have visited. It was also lovely to see the basement reserved for women, where you can try things on without feeling uncomfortable. It's definitely a shop I would visit again and again. I wish them all the success in the world in sha Allah.

I bought prayer mat, books and new clothes for my Sister that reverted to Islam, Al Hamdou Lillah she is very happy and satisfied with the quality of the Hijabs and clothings. Im happy with my purchase and also had a good experience in the store, I didnt want to leave ! Barakallahu feek

Really nice store, a lot of variety & reasonable prices. The owner was very friendly! We were from out of province so he spoke to us in English, offered us halal restaurant recommendations, directed us to the closest masjid, & gave us his number in case we needed anything.
