Hockey time in Calgary always a good way to spend time at the Mount Pleasant Community sportsplex. Great place for people to go form kids to parents and anyone inbetween for fun on and off the ice.

There's a giant patch of frozen liquid on the basketball court (which I mind you is lacking in basketball hoops) ended up spraining my ankle trying to throw a three-pointer. But overall a nice place, should invest in a heater because it is far too cold in there.

Went to watch a hockey game. Parking for the handicap stalls need to be cleaned better. The sidewalk was cleared to the front door. Thanks.

Pretty obvious how old this barn is. Ice quality is great, but otherwise it's just aged and cold. And dark! Playing here is like playing on an odr with poor lighting. The staff are great, but they can't save the place from time.

Yes it's old and therefore cold and small, but this place has always been kept immaculately clean in 20 years I've been refereeing and playing there. Showers look like home, always I've had hot water and the rink guys are around when you have a need otherwise things just happen as they are supposed to happen. Well run arena that I'm always happy to work from.

It's an urban example of a barn. Smaller dimensions, tiny dressing rooms, and the coldest indoor arena in town. But it's also a classic old rink, where the ice is arguably the best you will skate on. As a proud Canadian, I am honoured to spend 90 minutes there, once a week.

Very small change rooms. Smaller ice surface. Narrow hallways. Pretty much made for kids. The ice surface was very hard and therefore brittle. The net pegs kept coming off at both ends.
