Saké Restaurant and Bar

The service is perfect ,but the food is unbelievably less,I can understand wagyu beef is expensive, but menu say for 2 people, those food look like for 1 person.Sukiyaki's broth is Tempura sauce ,and steam rice used last night. I came because of an advertisement, but I think I was cheated.4/21 I won't go back try again,the problem isn't only broth,did you see your advertisement's pic? When I saw the vegetables only half of what I saw in the pic , why the rice wasn't fresh?

I have been here two times, last time was for Valentine. I’d say that their food is good but not perfect. First time, we ordered hot pot for 2 person ($60) came with a small bowl of noodle which was not enough for two. So I asked for one more bowl and surprisingly it was with a charge. Second time we ordered their eggplant which was a little bit too sweet for my taste as well as claypot chicken which was delicious! Their prices are a bit high and food portions are relatively small. Environment is excellent except their choice of music. Fine dining restaurant, valentine day, and deep house music don’t match I think.

Great food the chef who cooked our food was well talented and very entertaining while cooking at the same time.The dessert menu is excellent well presented.Price was just a bit too pricey.

We did Teppanyaki and the chef was spectacular. The drinks and desserts are incredible, but the food was a little less impressive. Although tasty, the portions were small and not as extravagant as we were expecting. A little too expensive for what you get, as you definitely pay for the experience. This restaurant has strong potential to be a beautiful fine dining establishment but it's not quite there yet. As opening quirks get smoothed out I am looking forward to going back for drinks and desert.

Excellent food and great service. We had a fantastic dinner experience last night at Sake. It was exceptional from the ambiance of the restaurant to the food and cocktail presentation which was exquisitely done. The presentation left an impression on us, but it was the taste that made an impact. There was literally explosion of flavors in all the dishes that we ordered. A big thanks to our server, Erin, for taking good care of us. We'll definitely recommend the restaurant to our friends, and we are hoping to visit again soon to try their other dishes and cocktails.

I went in March when they had the special set meals. While the main course food was okay, the real highlight were the drinks and dessert. I would 100000% go back for those! Unique and delicious cocktails and an incredible dessert. I didn’t think I would’ve chosen this from the menu, but it came with the set and I was thrilled.I’d probably go back just for drinks and desserts, but maybe not a full meal.Staff was also very friendly, and the teppanyaki chef was very talented and entertaining.

Decor is beautifully doneFood is visually outstandingTaste was impeccableService and staff were extremely top notchIf you have never had the experience of asian fusion your missing out!!!From the moment we entered everyone was friendly and even though they had masks on were smiling.The prices, portions were just perfectHighly recommend the empress cocktail...so beautiful and tastes amazing!!People that are complaining about the price this is on par with any high end restaurant such as the cut.Wishing this restaurant all the success it deserves and more

I had high hopes coming into Sake Restaurant & Bar based on the great photos they had advertised on their social media pages. Walking into the restaurant, you notice great decor and greeted right away. We ordered the 2 Dine Around Meal ($40) where it came with a choice of an appetizer, main, and the dessert “Pure Pleasure.” We ordered the Shrimp Tempura and the Salt and Pepper Beef to start off. All was good, until I noticed a very long blonde hair in my beef. I politely brought it to the servers attention and approx 7-10 mins later, she arrives with a another plate of Salt and Pepper Beef. I’ll have to admit, I was turned off with the hair found in my food at that point. For the mains, we ordered the Claypot Chicken and Beef and Black Bean. Both the chicken and beef were very salty and that was the only thing you can taste for flavour and had to drink a lot of water during it to the point we couldn’t bare to take another bite of the food because it was that awful. For dessert, we got the Pure Pleasure. The ONLY thing that tasted great from all the dishes was the dessert; It tasted delicious. When the bill came, I was disappointed to see that because there was a hair in the food, the server didn’t apologize or discount the bill whatsoever. Again, not asking for a discount, but even fast food restaurants will discount your meal for an error such as a hair cooked in your meal. Overall, I was not pleased with the food at all. For prices being the way they are on the menu and the quality of an all you can eat buffet, I would not be surprised if this restaurant was not around same time next year as I hope all new businesses succeed in these tough times. Again, I was very disappointed and you’re better off going to a fine dine restaurant elsewhere in the city where you truly will get quality and taste. PS attached is the hair found in my food.

Wonderful time!Booked a dinner with 7 friends and they graciously accommodated us in the private room so we could be a bit louder. The Peking duck was delicious as was the pork belly. The serving staff was great (especially that Danielle (?) girl)!We will be coming back in the future!
