École Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School
Going to this school currently and it's very supportive and teachers are ready to help. This school has a lot of courses that are not offered anywhere except universities and colleges which if you think about it: it's crazy. Pretty busy school of about 2000 people and MOST of the teachers are great. If you hate the school for having too much work, then maybe don't take the IB (International Bachelor) courses as they do have double the assignments and homework.

the fights are mid tier, got jumped once but they couldn't throw a single good punch, smoke pit is pretty great tho, spend most of my time there.

My husband and I looked into having our son go here and they gave us a vibe that they only care about the kids that are the BEST at all classes. This school is so huge we feared that our boy would slip through the cracks as he has autism and is not the best student in some subjects. We feared that he would be left to suffer and not encouraged to his full potential.

Teachers are great, enthusiastic and involved, doing the best they can. Office & counselling staff are organized, friendly and positive. LTCHS encourages parental involvement & support as well as personal responsibility on the part of the student. They keep us informed and students accountable, after all, this is their educational journey. It takes a community to educate a child: school, home & student all need to work together for a positive & successful outcome. We are so grateful for this wonderful school and their caring staff.
