Shoppers Drug Mart

I’ve been coming to the shoppers drug Mart for many years and I’ve never had a bad experience here the shelves are always fully stocked and you could visibly see where the products are and how much those products cost also the floors are always clean even with the change in seasons. The staff are friendly and very knowledgable where to find things in the store.The one thing that I don’t particularly appreciate is when you’re in the beauty section of shoppers drug and the employees are very pushy and don’t know personal boundaries or space they are always looking over your shoulder, and the women don’t give the other women space and freedom to shop for themselves.four star review because the beauty section definitely needs some improvement in their customer service skills.

This is one of the BEST Shoppers Drug Marts- the pharmacy staff are very friendly and so helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure mine and my husband's meds are ready and that we understand how to take them. I usually don't write reviews but the pharmacy staff here really deserved one. I wanted to thank each of you for making our experience efficient and positive. Keep up the great work!

I enjoy the people that work at this pharmacy - they're always friendly and they know me by name. Veedhi (who I think is the Pharmacy Manager) is super friendly and always looking to help. I also love the phone app - it makes it easy to get my refills.

Pharmacy. No.Our insurance is showing the exact perscription being covered for 80%, they claim its only 25%. Yet the profile with the exact insurance number and the exact perscription number comes up as 80% but they claim their system doesn't. Find a different pharmacy. This place is only for emergencies. Like if you have no other choice (cause I get sometimes it doesn't matter how awful it is you just need your pills) but if you have the options find another one.Edit to Add: They just keep getting worse and worst. Wrong dates on perscriptions. Switching the pills out without even speaking with the patient. In every pharmacy I have been to except this they have always checked before switching out the perscription, even for minor perscriptions. Had the same issue as the above AGAIN. Despite the fact happened twice and there has been 3 conversations with 3 people, it took the third visit and more pulling of the teeth get any other real explaination other then its just the system" and turns out it was not just the system."

I never thought I’d write a review, but here we are. This is an exceptional pharmacy. They really work hard to make sure they take care of you and help answer all your questions. They take their time and have been great with helping on all new prescriptions. It is a great store and always ready to serve. I recommend this to everyone who is looking at having a reliable and efficient pharmacy.

Pharmacy staff change often. New pharmacists rude to Senior women. Refused to return meds with receipt, boxes sealed. They enjoyed the power invested in them. This is Seniors area. We will complain as conduct is unacceptable. Manager on site sides with them, too young to manage concerns. Many of us feel discriminated and bullying. To the owner: pharmacists has all our private info. ,very concern about confidentiality and equal treatment for women in general.

I had a very positive experience with this pharmacy and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. All 3 of us were sick about 4 weeks ago and the pharmacist, Noor, went above and beyond to look after us and fill our prescriptions very quickly. She phoned twice over the next number of days to see if we were getting better. I was very impressed with the professionalism and compassion shown by the staff at this pharmacy. New ownership has ruined pharmacy. Lost an excellent staff to a skeleton crew of constantly changing faces. I brought my biz here three years ago because of the excellent pharmacy staff. None remain today.

The pharmacy team at the Plains Road East location is excellent and the pharmacists go above and beyond to explain about prescriptions and side effects. They follow up on a regular basis to see how the patient is doing. Also Peter (the medication delivery guy) is always friendly, on-time and will make an effort to come back a second time in one day if it is necessary. My mom will miss the people at this location. She is moving to Oakville (after almost 18 years in Burlington) and we have our fingers crossed that the service is as exceptional there as it was at Plains Road East.

The store is ok but horribly overpriced. Don't buy anything that isn't on sale. Watch the fliers if you absolutely must go here.The pharmacy staff are helpful in person, but never answer the phone if you are trying to get help with a prescription or change your order quantities. This feature is not available online. The refill surcharge is very high compared to the competition and other online services. Ended up moving my prescriptions for this reason.
